Title: Gear/s that didn't live up to your expectation

1. 2017 American Professional Stratocaster - i tried one sa Japan and i think its predecessor sounded better (American Standard Strat).

2. Boss BC-2 Combo Drive - i don't know why pero kahit anong pihit ko sa mga knobs...the 2x12 amp that i tested it with sounded like a 1x8. I thought i'd get an approximation of a Vox AC30 pero parang naging Vox AC4.

3. Generic Coily Cable from various music stores - bilis masira. Sayang 400 pesos ko.  :lol:

Marami ang disappointments sa dirt pedal dahil sa kakahabol ng tones.

Vox Satchurator - wala akong makitang usable tone dito other than light OD setting at lead tone. Fizz Galore!
MXR Fullbore Metal - Face melting gain to the point na uncontrollable!
Metal Zone - yes bumili din ako nito. Though yung Bogner mod ni Mark V ay tempting.

Dami kong nasayang na pera dito.  :lol:

Way Huge Supa Puss - Volume drop
Gibson SG - Owned and sold 3. My fave shape but can't seem to find one na kasundo ko
Dimarzio Air Classic - thin and glassy sounding parang di HB
Korg Pitchblack - Ang bagal ng response
TC Dreamscape - Volume drop and below ave modulation

effing boss DS 1 mod and stock. Great paper weight and door stopper though

1. Big Muff Pi. Great as a standalone pedal but sucks balls in a live situation. Even the mods can't get it to work in my applications.

2. Korg Pitchblack. Already mentioned slow response and one died on me.

3. Deucetone Rat. Good sounding pedal but for some reason it never sounded like a Rat to my ears.

2. Pro Junior III - I thought it would have more bottom end
3. Wampler Sovereign -  a bit muddy IMHO

Fernando Classical Guitar(forgot the exact model) - dinonate ko na lang dati sa ofis. parang plywood kahoy.
DOD Icebox - ice talaga sya. ang lamig ng tunog. kahit anong EQ mo parang lalo ninipis yung tunog
Iba ibang brands ng guitar cables - tibay yung rubber/mesh yung mga wires sa loob bilis masira.
