Anyone could be the best pinoy drummer...pero xempre patience lng need naten, coordination and hardwork! ^^ yahoo!...kaya natin abutin ang mga pangarap nten, sa tulong ng mga sikat na pinoy drummers ngaun...tulad nina Regalado, Dizon, Koko, Fortuno..sila magiging inspiration natin para maging magaling tau tulad nla! CHEERS! ^^

I think, Vic Mercado is featured on www.zildjian.com, pero sad to say...xa p lng ang drummer na featured throught out the world sa mga net...i searched trough other drummer websites like www.drummerworld.com, ala sina Vic, Regalado, Dizon, Bermejo etc dun...wah!

vic mercado is simply awesome nowadays. he's like the flamboyant harley alarcon.

master micheal alba (one of the best drummers in the phils)
ernie severino (galing sa hi-hat like a metronome "idol")
Sir jun Reglado (havent seen him play but he's one of them)
Mar dizon (awesome sa jazz and funk)

last ko nakita lahat na nagdrumsolo sa Dennis Chambers Drum Clinic sa meralco theater.......except vic and mic.......hindi pa endorser si mic alba and vic mercado before yung nasa clinic ni dennnis chambers. I was there with mic alba during the clinic.

Vic Mercado? ok lang. hindi ko kase nadig yung drum solo's nya sa bamboo or recent clinics
but i know nagpaturo din sya kay Micheal Alba...........So, magaling din.

patterns o kaya kahit anong showy stuff, pero talagang napakagaling nya.
Amazing lang talaga, ang nakakatuwa pa sa lahat e member sya dito
sa philmusic, pero hindi sya ganun ka-active sa boards. Actually, Sya nga ang nagrecommend sakin ni2ng site
nung nagtanong ako kung saan magandang makabili ng cymbals, haha. Tapos sabi nya rin eh madami
daw akong matutunan dito,

well one thing I learned is that you can't compare them kasi iba2 yung flavors ng musicians....iba2 technique and style pero for me as a bassist here's my DRMMER'S COLLECTIVE

actually, tek's drumming abilities is rather underestimated. sometimes, all the song really calls for is a basic rhythm. restraint is the thing that most musicians have to deal with. the more mature ones have already done so.
