In regards with PRS Thread, and ang budget ko is i think is only for the 98% dead-sounding PRS

how to determine a good sounding 98% dead-sounding PRS,

plan ko mag-collect ng gitara one of each brand with a price range of $500 minimum and $1000 max.

wla akong chance to test or try them since i'm just ordering online thru musiciansfriend or sweetwater.

given na non-specified genre ang tinutugtog ko (since home guitarist lang ako)

tested an SE, a custom 22 piezo and a Custom 24.

all of which were great sounding guitars. granted, I felt that the SE needed a pickup replacement.

the Custom 22 Piezo might be one of the best guitars I've held (Markcasq)

i think, for guitars...there are   hiyaw-less guitars regardless of price or brand,acoustic ba or electric, bug bog man or mint... sa stable ko theres one gutar that really stands out sa feel at sa tunog at sa resonance unplugged.. a good gauge to consider when buying a guitar used is kung ito ba ay yung #1 ng seller..(which is also hard to come by since #1 nga nila)..pero chances are since broken in at road worn na nila..may hiyaw siya... kahit acoustics... better try it or A/B it with whatever models you are gassing for...may mga brandless na blows famous brands away sa sound

my master once told me "ang isang electric guitar kahit di nka saksak sa amp, pag in-strum mo mganda ang tunog"
"mas luma ang gitara, mas maganda ang tunog" behind my head siguro yung ang personal pref nya idk, pra sken kasi
bsta good sounding guitar ok na hehe, until recently i found my right tone pra sa sarili ko.

btw nung kausap ko pla sya,

BTT: haven't tried a PRS so I don't have a personal preference about the guitar but, every damn time I visit JB, I usually check PRS's on display, try to touch the neck and feel how it fits to my hand.  I still prefer the feel of the SX tele neck lol

There are a bunch of different PRS neck carves to suit different tastes. There is the pattern, pattern regular, pattern thin, regular, wide-fat, wide-thin, etc. For me, anything slimmer than a '58 LP neck profile is playable.
