These......I was an Elixir user, the longevity of Elixirs are phenomenal, but the sustain is "so so", but these Pyramid strings are different, mismo yung tone, sustain is damn good1 I just wish they're durable.

alas! dami na din nakikita ang katotohanan sa Elixir. sometimes things can get so hyped up'd here in PM na its so hard to be objective.

what i like with Pyramids is the sustain. tone wise, its there!  agree.

longevity, well...it lasts longer than a pack of ordinary strings. sa akin lang ha.

i use the orange sets and they last quite long naman.

if you want an UNCOATED set of strings na parang Coated ang longevity, try D'addario NY XL strings.

everything under the sun has been invented so to speak, so anything new has more of this and less of that and so on. maybe they just added some chromium to the mix, which makes steel harder.

sa experience ko, D'addrio NYXL lives up to its name. long lasting. no Gore coating. may sustain din BUT its on the bright side of things and medyo napapayatan ako sa tunog.  im sure may babagayan to.

Equipped with EB Cobalt set now, nowadays, ok naman, my output slightly increased, sana lang tumagal para worth it yung price nila, parang kapresyo din kasi ng Elixir dealers dito eh. Pag ito umabot ng buwan na hindi nangangalawang ng basta basta, goodbye Elixir ako, cause i also wanted the feel and sound. Unlike my Elixir, they are tend to last long almost half a year, but the tone lasts only days.
I'm a one eared musician, and yes I do exist.

just tried elixir on my electrics. well I'm not convinced, yup its looks new lagi, pero kulang talaga sa sustain compared to the d'addarios I've been using, also i didnt like how slippery the strings on the first couple of days. kulang talaga sa bite lalo na sa upper registry. kaya babalik ulit ako sa d'ads

will try elixir next for my acoustic, parang mas swak sa needs, too noticeable kasi ang tone change sa acoustic, been using d'addarios on acoustic and two to three weeks lang wala na yung bright tone, hehe, well lets see  :-D

Elixir nanoweb

10-46 fixed bridge, standard / Eb / Drop D/ Drop C#

10-52 floyded, Drop C

Why elixir?
• ayoko ng mabilis kalawangin na strings.
• ayoko ng papalit palit ng strings specially sa floyded guitar

PS: Wala ako pakiaalam dun sa sinasabi nilang pumapanget daw ang tone pag tumagal na,
tone is in the fingers because by fingers are mahogany made in japan

I used to buy Roto Sound before at Lazer for 200+, but now, iba na packaging at pricing nila,  <_< 300+ na rin so snob na sya sakin ngayon.

I'm planning to try Elixir Nanoweb, I don't gig anymore and most of the time nakasabit lang guitar ko, marerecommend nyo ba sa seldom playing?
