every once in a while... kasi I'm still a young drummer so I'm still looking for that final perfect setup for my style of drumming... sometimes I change the position of key cymbals... sometimes I remove some... sometimes I add new sounds... stuff like that... everytime I learn something new some things in my kit just change... and for me thats just really fun... that's what makes me love drumming! there are just countless numbers of things to learn! :-D

yup! i change my set up often. i dont feel comfortable with the same set up everytime. i like mixing things up. i think that changing your set up also keeps your mind sharp. you train your mind to adapt to different environments. :-D

yes, im still exploring in which set up ako komportable, saka gusto ko masubukan ang lahat ng set up...left handed, right handed, big set-up, 3 piece, 4 piece, maraming cymbals hi-hat lang and crash-ride, so kahit anong mapatyempong set-up ang maupuan ko, makakapag adjust ako. God

now, i'm just choosing between two setups

SETUP1: 1 floor tom 2 rack toms, rack toms are oriented in way there is a space for the ride, the ride is located where the 2nd tom should be...

SETUP2: 1 rack tom, 2 floor toms. the 13" tom is converted as a floor tom.... minsan pala tinatanggal ko yung 16" floor tom for a 4pc set up yun...

depends on the mood pa rin... hehehe

my cymbals pala same configuration in both setups...

ako ang setup ko depende sa genre pag mejo metal o kaya panay patterns yung standard lang na dikit yung mga drums pero pag mejo garapalan. parange ke vic mercado tsaka importante yung space mo sa drums para maka move ka freely! share lang po! :)

ako oo, sa cymbals madalas.. kasi depende kung ano imapact ng crashes ang gusto mo.. pag edge ang tinatamaan mo sa right crash continously, i change the crashes depends on the sound compatible sa tugtugan,, pati toms minsan binabago depende sa trip e..
play not by your skill, but by your heart..

ako medyo madalas considering wala pa ko 5 mos nagstart magdrums. siguro part of it is really looking for what's most comfortable; another is just to explore and keep things exciting. i have a standard 5-pc so i just switch back and forth to a 4-pc set up, yung 13" binababa ko tapos nilalapit ko ung ride sa hi tom. the advantage is i tend to explore more and be more creative kpg 4-pc lng, and what's noticeable is when i switch back to a 5-pc unconsciously naa-apply ko yung bago kong natutunan. last night i decided to hang both my rack toms (hi-tom sa crash stand, low-tom sa ride stand sa tabi ng floor tom) to free my bass drum of any weight. sana di ako ma-bore agad kase mabusisi ibalik sa dating setup.

Ako kasi, kapag practice namin, standard set up ako then nagdadagdag lang ako ng cymbals...yung mga song kasi namin kailangan detalyado...
so kapag nasa mga event kami, madali naman akong magadjust kung magiba man ako ng set up for my comfortability...

i did it twice.

i just converted into a 4-pc kit from a 5-pc kit.

it's more convenient for me. and i just found out for myself that a lower-height cymbal setup is easier as well for me in terms of accessing them.

ako solid na lagi ang set-up ng drums themselves, gusto ko kung ano position nila, dun na sila.

OC ako sa pwest nila, dapat sakto sa reach ko.

nagiiba lagi are my cymbals, depende talga kung ano trip ko lalo na kapag may bagong cymbal, mag aayos ako sa pwesto kung saan pinaka comfortable paluin at depende din kung gano kadalas gagamtin

i started drumming with 2 rack toms and 1 floor tom (like almost everyone) then i modified it to 1 rack tom and 2 floor toms (both on the right) where i am most comfortable right now. minsan nililipat ko yung bigger floor tom sa left side ko beside the hihat pero napakabihira. yung location at orientation ng cymbals ang madalas kong baguhin.
