The back story on this guitar, for those of you who don't know it, is back in 1959 a guy contacted Gibson. He wanted a Custom but couldn't afford one. Gibson offered to paint one of their "Standard" models black for him.
When they finished it, it was 1960. Thus, this guitar has a 1960 serial number. However, under the paint you can make out its original 1959 number. You can also see the flame underneath the black paint.
It's just an unbelievably cool, one of a kind, guitar.

And oh yeah....it sounds spectacular!

Yo bro, actually I've had that Slash bio for 3 weeks now. All this time I've just finished the foreword, bwahahaha. In time, mukhang masaya nga basahin. I set it aside to read the Allman bio first.

Amazon bro. I got mine shipped by jefisipbata, together with all the other stuff. Next up, yung discography ni Duane, sayang dapat naisabay ko na.

I have a full set of Vinyl with me and a Pioneer circa 80s turntable...

My vinyl set includes lots and lots of Beatles, Led Zep, triple vinyl Woodstock, Deep Purple, Chicago, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Concert for Bangladesh, Juan Dela Cruz (MASKARA) and many many more... i love the scratchy sound on the vinyls ^_^ and sound good playing along with a les paul  :-D :-D :-D

medyo OT na tayo but last na promise... I just have to share kase di rin ako makapaniwala noon pero sa vinyl may parang airiness yung tone ng les paul that sounds like my lp when I'm playing in the room

Hindi OT to Esse, lalo na kapag les paul tone ang pinag-uusapan natin, lalong nag-sspark ng interest yan (for me).

I have some Clapton, Cream, Zep, Hendrix, Bloomfield, Free records na nabili/nahingi dito sa abroad. Plus yung mga old records ko pa sa bahay. Mas masarap pakinggan ang records dahil hindi compressed ang audio. Open ang highs and lows. At yung pops! Yung pops!
