Yup, he's the guy who came up with the Purdie Shuffle - the drum lick that Jeff Porcaro popularized via Toto's 'Rosanna'..

Jeff would always explain at clinics that he didn't make it up ...

Who in this room has heard of Steve Gadd?' All the hands went up. 'Aja?' All hands up. 'I'm sure you all know Steve won Performance Of The Year for that in Modern Drummer. Well. you're all [strawberry] up! I just played you 'Home At Last' with Bernard Purdie, and that's on the same record. What do you do, listen to 'Aja' and then take the needle off? As musicians you should know everything I just played for you. Some of the best drum [gooey brown stuff] ever is on that record. Each track has subtleties."

Well.. Shameless plug here. LOL

Just wanted to share, and to start probably, since I have'nt seen anyone upload a video of them playing. Well, I'll start.

I just took this a few hours ago. I wanted to put my phone into good use. LOL. It's just me making noise. Nothing really planned. My typical "beat the [gooey brown stuff] out of your drums" practice routine. LOL

by the way, enjoy my own "STAX" cymbals. haha, 1 16" Genesis Crash and 14" Top Genesis Hi-Hat. I cracked my 18" A Custom Crash kasi

yeah.. I've been playing for 4 years. 2 Months of which I studied with Jun Regalado. Other than those 2 Months, Self-Taught lang.

Yeah, I was'nt kinda in a good mood. It was me just bashing things LOL, I had that "stuck in a rut" feeling. LOL. Guess you can see it in my playing. Haha.

I'll upload another video once I'm in the mood.
