Converting Spider IV 150w combo to head and cab
« on: August 11, 2017, 12:46:46 AM »

I have this amp which at first I intend to sell to get a tube amp. But I got this idea, that if this conversion is possible, then I would only need a tube head. I did a little research on this pero hindi ako sigurado with all the technical terms used when explaining the specifics.

I don't plan to do the conversion by myself, i'd probably seek for professional help. I just want to know if this is possible?

TIA

Very possible. All you need to to is get in touch with local cab makers.

Possible kaso bababa yata ang value ng amp. tsaka iba yata ang speakers nyan. Bili ka na lang ng amp head + cab.

After digging a little deeper sa ibang forums, found out that there's so much things to consider in doing the conversion. Mukhang it's easier to sell the amp then get a proper head and cab.

Salamat!
