my dad is a childhood friend of adolfo toyoda timuat. they don't really get together much now (since adolfo's in spain or touring), but we've been to his concerts here and we kinda hung out for a bit while he was here.
i really wished he would gift me with one of his adolfo guitars, pero asa hehe.
i was inspired to try my hand at spanish classical because of maestro timuat, but all i really managed to do was segovia's estudio sin luz and tarrega's gran vals (you know, the nokia ring tune).
maybe i should try learning again, start from simple pieces. at the very least it's a rich source of inspiration.
