just had an idea. why don't you guys send a shredhead to ProGuitarShop for review?

that would be so cool. and if all turns out well (meaning that people there at proguitar shop actually have a taste for tone) it can really boost the popularity of the shredhead. and heck, who knows, baka iimport na nila tong shredhead, o baka naman si mark na mismo kunin nila. haha. wag naman sana. haha.

ok, after weeks of having the shredhead, i have just used it for practice at my room.

yesterday, i used it for like two hours with a drummer and we jammed like forever.

now my review for the shredhead..

guitar used: prs se custom, boomers 10s, bridge pup= steves special, neck pup=paf joe.
amp used: crappy raon amp LOL

one thing i noticed, that raon amp really sucks. my cleans reallly do suck. but when i engage the shredhead, that thing sounds like a marshall amp. MARSHALL. prescence at 3:00, tone is between 11-1. turn the knob right for more bite.

the tone im getting is really good! i cant imagine getting a good tone at that sucky amp! shredhead really gives clear notes, not smudgy. harmonics fly, and is so clear (i always use pinch harmonics). we played blues and this thing is awesome. we played shred guitar and this rock. very versatile. notice that i am just using the shredhead, nothing more, just the reverb of the amp, which is barely noticeable. the shredhead's sound is thick, even when i am using the scooped mids of he steves special. my guitar sustains really well, alongside with this pedal sustain is forever. when i use the neck pup, paf joe, the tone is a bit thicker, but is also very smooth.. it doesnt become spikey when im at the 15 and up frets, and is still very clear, the treble rounds off.

this shredhead will not leave my pedalboard, unless markV develops a better version of this

About tone suck, since true-bypass ang shredhead wala kang issues dun bro. Kung paano tunog ng multi mo without the shredhead ganun pa rin ang sound ng setup mo when shredhead is cascaded and bypassed/off.

Shredhead is transparent even at extreme settings, that's why it compensates well on different amps & pedals.

share ko lang latest favourite tone setting ko sa SH ni papa mark for bedroom practice ko:

tone: 10-11 o'clock depending on your axe's characteristic
volume: same as above or depending on you amp siyempre
gain: between 12-1 o'clock
presence same as above

plugged into a cub 10;
tone: between 3 and 4 (that's around 10-11 o'clock)
volume: 4
gain: between 2 and 3

tapos lagay ka nalang ng delay pedal.. tweak to your tasting (noob ako sa delay e)

and voila! simple setting actually but EJ's tone is not far behind! hehe. plus you get to clean it up real well with only the use of the volume knob. (may treble bleed capacitor pala gitara ko again, c/o papa mark) haha. so much control literally at your fingertips, or with whatever it is you use to turn your guitar knobs and need not reach down to tweak the pedal. hehe.
ps: woman's tone: neck pup, roll down tone knob sa guitar.

on my prs se im always at 3-5 oclock, pero ang tone ay asa 10-1 and presence ay sa 2-4 oclock
