Man, I am amazed. I wasn't expecting the Shredhead to be this good. Kakatapos ko lang mag-gitara after 3 hours (poor neighbors).

First of all, it has all the gain you will need for shred, neo-classical, and Marshallized metal. High gain talaga siya for that kind of tone and kung nakukulangan ka pa, naku, ewan ko sa iyo. It doesn't get muddy on any settings and ang ganda ng mid-range niya. Kuhang kuha ang Yngwie, Paul Gilbert, Megadeth, etc (basta Marshall user).

But really, it is a very excellent lead guitar pedal. Rhythm win din pero sa lead lalo na sa shred ang dali at sarap. Responsive and well-defined. Sarap din mag-sweep picking kanina. Rinig na rinig. Sa legato naman at picking talaga litaw ang nota walang kahirap-hirap. Masarap ang response and feel niya. Promise. Convincing talaga siya na Marshall pedal for me.

And yes, it killed my GAS for the Super Plextortion. It may not be the best Marshall box (I haven't tried many) but surely, it's one of those pedals that will make you say, "hmmm, you know, kahit may possibility na mas better na pedal pa, I'm satisfied na with what I have."  At least for me.

Great review dude! +100 ako sa sinabi mo na litaw na litaw lahat ng notes. Kaya nga ang sarap mag chords with the SH kasi maiintindihan mo pa rin kung anong chord sya kahit hi gain setting. Congrats btw!

Hi Mark, can you make a dual channel SH with independent controls? I want a transparent channel on one side and a big distorted wall of sound on the other (just like the one you have already). Hmm... Or is it better to get two instead? Whaddyathink?

Another suggestion, include tone shaping controls for the dirt such as low, mid and high and exclude the single tone knob. Extreme versatility!

^thanks sa mga suggestion mga bro.. pero baka din matagal pa bago ma-finalize yan, satisfied pa kasi ako sa design/controls ng current SH eh & isa pa mas affordable.

FYI: Sa mga users na wala pang treble bleed capacitor sa vol. knob sa guitar. Lagyan nyo na yan mga bro para lumabas true potential ng SH nyo (versatility)

Kung ibanez RG/S (basta walang pickguard) na guitar ako na bahala dyan, libre na pa-install.
