first and foremost...walang peke na fernando. ang fernando sticker lang yun na nilalagay ng jb sa mga drums/guitars na binibili nila sa kung saang parte ng china. medyo nakakalito yung "original" kasi sa simula't sapul hindi naman nila ginagawa yung drums kaya hindi yun original.

its a business practice, just take it with a grain of salt. naghahanap ang jb ng murang factory na mabibilan nila ng drums so kung bumili man sila sa china this year, or taiwan the next year, it doesnt matter since we drummers benefit from their cheap price and good quality

applicable lang yung term na "original" sa mga high end drums (pearl, yamaha at tama are some examples), alam mong original kasi sila mismo yung gumagawa ng drums nila mula shells hanggang finished product at sa factory nila mismo ginawa.

ngayon meron pang OEM - original equipment manufacturer. may contract yung factory sa china to produce drums according to specs for a certain brand e.g. sonor, gretsch, pork pie. bakit ginagawa ng drum companies to? kasi mas mura magagawa yung drums at mas mura nila mabebenta.

imagine kung liliitan mo yung badge

- hindi sya eye-sore
- the owner might decide not to remove the sticker
- other drummers who might see the drum will know its a fernando

kung malaki yung badge at removable = sayang yung advertising mileage ng fernando

@dindin : can they somehow limit bringing in drums with cheesy wraps? the white marine pearl is classy and the blue sparkle (na pinaginitan ko noon sa southmall) looks great and very pro, but the other finishes like the orange pearl, brown choco or something and that blue holo looks...baduy IMO

sorry for being opinionated about this subject but confusing kasi para sa consumer yung image na ginagawa ng fernando. do they want to be classy or mod? para kasing walang direction. sabagay may kanya kanyang taste ang mga tao pero fernando as a brand would go a long way if they start learning something about "product identity" hehehe

again IMO

I think they're trying to be a brand that caters to everybody's tastes. At least you have a lot of choices, diba? And there are also a lot of buyers out there who think that "Blue Holo", or "Orange Pearl" look classy or expensive, and "White Marine Pearl" or "Blue Sparkle" too plain-looking or ordinary... hehehe That's why I chose Orange Sunburst... classic... Anyway, you wouldn't believe how many of these drumkits they've sold already...

And Fernando is mostly bought by first-time buyers or newbies as a beginner's kit. Maybe the "extraordinary" looking wraps appeal to them. Hence...

I'm not really sure. pero nung tinignan ko, walang screws ang mounting systems sa drums.
Aside from the screws ng lugs around the shell, yung air hole lang yung nakita kong nakalagay sa likod ng tom mounting plate.

Not exact pero parang ganito siya...
