Soprano -Dukoff D7 w/ rovner ligatureEddie Daniels model

Alto - Dukoff D7(refaced /customized by mojobari to .85 ),rovner ligature,Eddie Daniels model & ARB bellite 7,customized

Tenor - Phil Barone customized link..,rovner Eddie Daniels ligature..

I used to own several pieces like berg,link, bari, selmer JAzz, etc..and choosing a mouthpiece is something personal...It also depends on the style of music you're playing - jazz, contemporary, etc.......

I like to try Dave Guardala mouthpiece too but the price, too much.
Up to now still using classic selmer C* hard rubber pa rin.

I tried bari on my tenor and personally don't like it, i prefer fibracel and legere,.......but lately i'm using  vandoren (zz's,)....

The Eddie Daniels model is very nice...it can shape your sound...dati, kala ko ang ligature walang pakialam sa sound production..pero when i tested this model, i feel the difference........I tried the "Oleg" once only but prefer this Rovner ED model, it  has several ways to shape your sound..try to read their site.......and they got several sizes to fit your piece....
BTW, sa soprano dukoff ko,..it's not ED model but rovner dark,......

I love my ARB 6 alto mouthpiece, i love the way Nelson Rangell sounds with his sax kasi e. Hehe. I use Brancher Jazz reeds but they don't seem to be as durable as Vandoren Javas.

gamit ko selmer soloist plus vandoren v16/java reed (strength-3) plus vandoren leather ligature.

ano bang brand ng alto mouthpiece yung madali lang hipan? yung onting hinga lang tutunog na, medjo yun kasi habol ko eh. So parang mas maliit yung tip opening niya? Gamit ko kasi ngaun yamaha 4c lang, haha! San ba nakakabili ng mga medjo mas kilalang mga brand for alto sax mouthpiece dito sa pinas? or talagang ship from abroad?

4c is a beginner's mouthpiece..dapat madali lang hipan...teka, anong sixe ba ng reed mo?..baka matigas ..kaya mahirap hipan....

i mean size.....ok ang yamaha 4c kesa ibang plastic pc....anong brand ba hanap mo?...anong tunog ba ang gusto mo?...contemporary (bright) or dark..etc....

ahhh, 2.5 vandoren naman gamit ko na reed. Nasira kasi yung 4c ko, so may nagbebenta sakin ng clark "debut" na mouthpiece?  maganda kaya yun? gusto ko sana yung parang meyer m6 na madali hipan pero nasa mga 3-4k range.

so  darker pala ang tunog na gusto mo...never tried this "clark" brand....pero ang "debut" ay student model....NOVA is their "pro"....

BTW, here's some mouthpiece charts.. para kung gustong same tip opening ng meyer 6..(.075)  match mo na lng ang mga brand..at leat di ka mahirapang mag-adjust baka ang makuha mon piece ay super tigas hipan kasi very open!...
