Title: Zoom MS-50g version 3 firmware is out! DON'T SELL YOURS YET!!!

Hello mga Philmusic peeps.
Just updated my Zoom MS-50g to version 3 firmware. :razz: This is really cool because this update gives you additional 72 effects(amps, overdrives, delays, modulations, reverbs).
I was happy when I purchased this MS-50g because it sounds great but also feel sad because of the limited amps simulation it has. I wish then that it has the capability of the MS-100BT to have additional effects/amps/etc through the StompLab store.
But with version 3, through the MS-50g Effect Manager, you can download additional effects/amps/etc just like the discontinued MS-100BT. With ver. 3, I now have 14 additional amp simulations. Mesa Dual Rect channel 3(Vintage), Bogner Red channel, VOX Combo, etc. It also have TS-808, Gold Centaur,etc overdrives. The list goes on and on.
With version 3, you can configure your MS-50g as your pre effects and AMPs pedal. For example, you can select all your compressors, drives and amps and un-select all others and write/download to your unit (through the MS-50 Effect Manager) and make it your "AMPs" pedal. Then if you have another MS-50g, you can configure it to be post-processing effects which will include all modulations, delays and reverbs.

I wish they release new firmware for the G3 as well. I really need reverse reverb.

And even the G3N doesn;t have those effects. Looks like they refuse to kill off the MS70CDR.
its their stombox format showcase pedal i think they will be keeping it long term..I really like it, if only it had a looper...id sell off the bulky g3 asap..

Hahaha...Its possible...
The version 3 update made the MS-50G flexible, more usable and "bang for the buck". I was really interested in the amp simulations effect of the unit. Its decent and usable.

beacause I really dont care much about pedals anymore and lugging a heavy azz pedalboard switching subway stations, walking around aint worth it especially for "beer/taxi money TF" gigs..
when I play guitar on open nights I just bring a guitar and coily cable..
when I play bass for my regular band..i just use a Zoom B1on easy peasy ..
sa bahay may board pa ako, pero wah, drive pedals, eq and ZOOM G3 nalang..
sa pinas, may analog board pa ako pero..zoom G1xon ang nakalabas.. :oops:
my pedal phase is over.. even my pedalboards are just those cheapo, DIY stuff..hahaha..
so the ms50g is a powerful mainstay sa players arsenal..lalo ngayon inuupdate pala nila firmware..nice!

:-( Nag update ako kahapon ng v3 from v1.. ok naman may nadagdag na zoom effects ang problem kulang walang carbondelay, particlereverb, centagold, chamberreverb, bgdrive, etc. bakit kaya ganon?

Download mo rin yung Effects Manager sa pc mo. Kumbaga kelangan mo pa I-enable with your pc, pero andyan na yung effects sa ms50g di mo lang nga makikita.
