Guys help

Do I need to replace the pick up or madadaan ba sa wiring? Sorry noob..

Same effect I had with my fernando guitar installed with the same pickup.

Yes and yes.

Problem with Artec pickups, including the rails, kelangan malapit siya sa strings.

So if ever, I'll just adjust the pick up height na parang naka slant yung position..?

Depends if you want it slant or not. Yung position or height kasi ng pickups will make a noticeable difference sa sound that it will produce. Brief description siguro, mas malapit yung pickup sa strings, higher output, and grittier or whatever term you wanna call it. Mas malayo naman sa strings, less output, but notes are clearer.

Okay naman. Pero depende pa din.

Pros: Consistent sound mo.
Cons: If you're a gigging musician, hassle magbitbit ng amp.

Anong amp ba minamatahan mo?

Yung line 6 spider IV sana na 75watts.. Ok po ba yun?
Natural paren ba sound nya lalo na yung clean, kahit modelling amp sya?
And pedal friendly ba?
Sirain ba mga modelling amp? Since digital sya?

Should i go to a solid state or hybrid amp?

Okay siya.
What's natural-sounding to you may not sound natural to me, and vice versa.
Not sure about this being pedal-friendly. In the first place, why would you buy a Spider if you're gonna use pedals with it? It kinda defeats its purpose - at least for me.
Sirain kung di iingatan. Di porket digital sirain.

Go for something you want.

Capish? :)

Anybody here experienced this issue on a BOSS CE-5?

Mine recently had these: Though the indicator and LED signal works perfect all the time, at about three instances, there was  no discernible effect sa sound kahit naka on yung unit.

Hope it's not GAS time.  :)
Well, yeah.

Where's your location? I have got one for sale at a good price, including the FBV footswitch. If you're near Los Baņos, Laguna, you can drop by our place to personally test it out and get to know the sound first.  :-)

Newbie here. Where can I get my guitar for "proper" set-up or refretting? I've read previous reviews here talking about the pros and cons (overpricing, poor refret etc.) from going to Guitar Salon, Guitar Hospital and other shops, but then I'm still not sure. I have a Fender MIM Strat, I was thinking of going to Yupangco, but they said they don't do repair services/set-ups. So I was just wondering where could I bring my guitar 'cos I don't have any experiences with guitar shops yet and I don't want to risk waiting then ending up with a poor job done on my guitar.

 :)

First, where are you located?
tell us so we can advise the nearest luthier to you.

but in terms of craftsmanship, I would say, MICSIS (Sucat) or ELEGEE (QC) are the best in the business today.

I live in Caloocan though. I'm just wary of theft if ever I'm gonna take my guitar to a repair shop, but I really want a guitar set-up. Thanks!

Question:
Is it bad in any way for your guitars if you keep them on a stand instead of putting them on it's case? ^^

Sirs sorry in advance if there's already a similar query/thread here somewhere...I hope you don't mind pointing me to it.  :-)

Tanong ko lang additional inputs nyo on these micro/portable amps. I've been doing some research pero I felt the need to consult you guys who have more knowledge and experience in this forum before i shell out money  (taga pinoydrums kasi ako):

Vox mini5 rhythm - attractive bec of the rhythm patterns
Vox mini3 g2 - simpler and lighter than the mini5
Roland micro cube - matibay daw, sound quality is good, pero di kaya sabay mic and instrumet
Line 6 micro spider - mahal, i haven't seen a real advantage, unfamiliar with the brand

Parameters- more of build/durability, value for money, weight (lighter the better) and overall sound quality, not really on effects
Use - flexible for acoustic guitar with vocals and sometimes as portable PA for small group gathering, or playing mp3s

Thanks :-D

i have the Vox Mini3 G2 which i bought from audiophile sm north a couple of months ago. it is packed with a lot of features, considering its size.

it also sounds big!

for a guitar player, there are lots of amp models and effects to choose from. but i use it mainly for keys (yes, there's also a line-in mode).

it comes with an adapter but i always use batteries for maximum portability. one set of 6xAA will give you hours of enjoyment.

Based on empirical evidence, yes. my friends SG's neck got warped from being on a stand for too long. take note of the emphasis. he displayed the guitar on the stand for about 2 - 3 months or so, then when he wanted to play with it, it already had a warped neck. so, I think it'd be best to keep them on the case. or if ever you'll be using a stand, use the one's where it only holds the body, and not the neck. YMMV.

Oh really .. thanks for the info sir. I think I'll just keep them on the cases for now, tutal di pa naman ganun kasikip sa room. Better be safe than sorry.  :-D
