boss GT-10

First time GT-10 user here, its my first multi I dont know an existing thread here about the new boss gt-10 guitar effects proc. but please guide me there if there is. i havent finished studying the manual yet, but if you save a set up on an existing patch will it be lost or overwritten? Im just worried because there is a lot of pre-sets that sounds good, im just afraid to lose those. please help ***calling experts**

you're safe.  all the presets are saved in the preset banks (P01-P50), while any patch you save gets saved in a user bank (U01-U50).  At 4 patches per bank, that's 400 patches to play with
