hindi adviseble gamitin yung hardcase pag wala kang car..
sasakay ka ng jeep or fx may dala kang hardcase..hassle yun..hehe

but I just dont agree with certain people there claiming that a cheap guitar does not deserve to be in a hardcase.

For me a guitar with a sentimental value deserves to be protected no matter how much is it.

whats your comment about this? and what do you prefer a gig bag or hard case? on the other hand there is also a "road case" its much tougher than a hard case as seen on the gator website.

if you have the money, go on and buy stuff that you like, be it Wolftone humbuckers or Bareknucle pickups on a Rockstar LP copy..

it's so happen na sa bansa natin ngayon, hindi masyadong practical mag-invest sa mga masyadong mahal na bagay lalo na kung hindi bumabalik ang capital.. it would also depend greatly on the need.. kung kailangan ihardcase, go.. save for one..

i'm fine with a gig bag for my electric guitar.. pero for my acoustic, it should have a hardcase.. kahit mahirap at mabigat bitbitin, i want the most safety for it.. hindi naman ako pala-labas with my electric kaya a soft case for seldom gigs would be ok.

depende for a commuting musician like me i preffer gig bags less hassel lalo n kung sasakay ka ng MRT if ever naman may sasakyan yung banda or storage space for a hardcase is not so limited ill put it in the hardcase

kung may tugtug padded gig bag kasi nakakpagod kapag hard case tapos dala mo pa yung malaking effects....pero travelling still having hard time deciding if hardcase of padded gig bag in flying....kasi if padded gig bag pwedi mo ata e hand carry pero kapag hardcase check in mo talaga which can be paranoing in my part...i wanna hold my guitar............

Hardcase - whenever, wherever. There's no such thing as overprotection when it comes to guitars.

Well made Gig-bag for me.

IMHO

a well made gig-bag is as good as a hard case.

well it really doesn't matter, cause it all depends who carry them anyway.

bit OT: remembered a friend from my card playing days...
he borrowed his dads gibson fling v for a school gig at lourdes manda,,,
going home he rode a jeep sabit style....
and you guessed it one of the straps of the softcase gave and the V was really flying!
kudos to the v the body and head was ok,,,but suffered a broken neck lol...
if he was using a hardcase ,,,di siya sasabit hehehe...

hardcase - check in sa airport yan, binabalibag ng mga hudas na baggage boys. but you can put some cloth to fill those voids.

softcase - handcarry, pwede sa compartment, mag ingat sa mga hudas na pilit sinisiksik ang gamit kahit hindi na kasya.

hardcase pa rin, pwede mo pa lagyan ng maraming sticker
