Im just a begginer. baket pinag kakaalan akong nag take ng guitar lesson T_T. self lesson for almost 3 years and hindi pa ako masyado sa pagplay ng guitar. parang twice a week lang. pero as what they say malinis DAW tirada ko. haha. just sharing. any one naka experience ng ganito?  pinipilit ako na nag take daw ako ng lesson. which is nakakaasar.

Baliktad kami. Ako pinipilit na wag nang tumugtog kasi wala na raw pag-asa kahit mag-aral. :lol:

Peeps, in fairness, all of us thought that we were great on our 3rd year playing guitar.  Now that I have been playing for 20 years, Youtube made me feel how much I suck.

Relax ka lang. Having a teacher is not as bad as you might think. May nagtuturo sa akin ngayon at ang laki ng improvement compared sa dati. Akala ko tama yung technique ko, kaso as the person who's teaching me has pointed out, mali e. So kailangan ko i-unlearn ang maraming nakagisnan ko na. It's a really good thing to have a good teacher guide you and point out mistakes in your playing. Wala namang mawawala kung may mapulot kang tips along the way di ba?

aww... mukang nagkamali ng post si koya..hahahaha..

easy lang sa pagpost, mga gitarista din kasi magbabasa dito, and baka may mga "teacher" of music pa talaga.. haha..
@TS ok lang yung mapagkamalan, but STAY your feet on the ground. At wag tignan yung sarili as "magaling", cause there's always somebody who is better than you.. be proud nalang sa tingin nila sayo.. :))

Praise junkies - hehe.  Nothing beats encouragement and pushing the kids than giving them praise to give them a false sense of security.  We've seen too much of them on American Idol.

nakakahawa yung galing nya..
pero pag self lang parang ayaw magpaturo at feeling talaga e napaka galing.. hehehe..

gusto ko nga din sana makapag lesson para mas maimprove ang skills ko.
pero dahil sa work. walang time para magtake ng lesson. me mga offer pa sila na 150/hr. at hindi nman masama mga tinuturo nila. pero yun nga . walang time. tsaka san nman gagamiten nag natutunan?? SA BAR LANG?? wag na lang. kung sa bar lang mapupunta ang skills.

kung di mo alam, most accomplished musicians started their careers by playing in bars.

Pero ikaw, di mo na ata kailangan nun. Galing mo eh. Para kang naglessons kahit hindi naman. Which is nakakaaasar.  :cute:
