oo naman. kahet ano namang brand basta ok sayo ang feel at tunog why not?

anyway about squier. kung gusto mo talaga ang porma at dateng ng fender but don't have the budget and would still want to own a "technically" fender guitar since FMIC owns squier, i suggest you should definitely go for squier. nasa sayo naman kung ok ang instrument o hindi. try mo na lang kaya. :-D

Reading from other guitar related forum sites(www.tdpri.com), maganda naman ang feedback nila sa squier, lalo na yung Bullet series ngayon.

try to play the guitar and inspect it thouroughly kasi hindi lahat ng squier ay ok na ok ang pagkakagawa.

ok squier wala naman yan sa brand eh... depende rin yan sa brand at kung ano talaga ang tunog na hanap mo... kasi kahit mamahaling brand kung di ka pa rin kuntento sa tunog mo either you buy another one or set up it...
i already dispose here: Fender Strat 50th Anniversary Made in U.S, Fender Strat MIJ Reverse Headstock, Epiphone Firebird, Godin Acoustic, Octave OC2, XBOX 360.

My Gear: Hamer Vector, Fender Strat 57ri, Warlock and my Pedalboard...

how would you know if the maple wood of your guitar is poor?? anyone?
especially when it comes to its neck, and what are its consequences?  :-)

i always travel with a gigbag so yeah i bring it as a handcarry, been doing that alot. usually if active pups i remove the battery because, you know..we dont want that random search,

anyway with international flights, there are 3 sections that i know of where i store my guitars

1. when you enter the plane there is a storage to your right for strollers, pilot stuff
2. the mid area has a storage too just ask the flight attendant
3. the tail area has a bigger storage for strollers

for planes northwest, cathay, midwest and AA

i just brought a guitar from the U.S. to here in the Philippines riding PAL...
unless you personally know a member of the flight crew or someone at the check-in counter, they wouldn't let you hand carry your guitar regardless where you are seated

but i don't know about domestic flights i would suggest giving a call to the airline you'll be riding to answer your inquiry

lol i heard that with PAL, what is up with them? anyway AA domestic flights

small musical instruments may be carried onboard the aircraft providing they meet existing carry-on size requirements and fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. Case dimensions may not exceed 45 linear inches (width + length + height), except for guitars which may be brought on board only if they can be safely stowed in an overhead bin or approved stowage location in the cabin.

The instrument is considered the passenger's one allowed carry-on bag. A personal item is allowed in addition to the instrument.

yung saken nabili ko siguro 10years ago made in korea lang. try mo maghanap ng magandang squier kasi parang yung mga squier ngayon china lang din ata (correct me if im wrong).

di lahat ng squire ay china..but you can see the difference, low class yung mga hardwares ng china at di pulido..actually for me,parang may difference ang class ng fenders at ibby...mostly signatured ang fenders sa blues,at ibby for rocks.. :-D (my opinion)
