Yamaha YD Series Drums

Hi,

My son has this drum set. Are these still available new. I went to Yupangco and looks like they don't have it anymore. I believe this was purchased around 2001 for around 65K including the cymbals and the drum throne. Any feedback how good this drum set is.

i believe the equivalent today is the rydeen series.

dont sell those. great sounding drums

Yamaha YD series drumset is already a discontinued model as well as the Rydeen seriess. Right now, the Yamaha Gigmaker drumset is the replacement model for these two. It is under promo with free B8 Performance set cymbals. :-)

YD series is better than Rydeen and Gigmaker..they're Made In Indonesia, including the hardware.
By the way, the hardware is durable and they were made in the Yamaha Motorcycle factory in Indonesia.
