Nice MIA tele there. American Standard no???

I just got myself an MIJ 52RI with vintage pickups and steel saddles. Sounds steely. I like the tone so far. It sounds good through an Ibanez Mostortion to my Roland Cube 40.

who here got much love for tele and willing to spend this much?  :-D

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=160089774551&rd=1&rd=1

its like going back in time.. the neck looks prestine, as if it didnt age ( iwas expecting the usual amber/honey tint going on) ...just  like those new MIMs and squires.

Wow vintage '57?? Nice collection Farseer!! Kudos!!

Share ko lng. I was able to try out a Richie Kotzen Signature Telecaster!! Quick tone review. It sounds thick and lush. Round tone. Not an authentic tele twang tone, but more of a smoothed out, refined sounding tele.

It has two knobs, a volume and a knob to switch the character of the out-of-phase position. It adds a little oomph to the tone. Parang mild overdrive/thickener.

On pure aesthetics alone, this tele was a museum piece. Gold hardware, and a contoured back, plus the most dazzling sunburst finish ever to grace these eyes!...

acckkk!!! ganyan ang gusto ko ng tandem! one down, one to go.

maybe i should post an ad. "will swap an american standard tele (with texas specials, callaham control plate and callaham bridge) for a '62ri tele (sunburst sana and may binding). hassle kung sa ishibashi ko na naman bibilin e. one week lang yung hassle pero hassle pa din yung extra fees ng shipping and duties.

.....yeah...but it doesn't sound like a REAL tele...it sounds like Kotzen playing a tele.

.....I almost got dragged to buying that particular model...but I have this thing about original stuff....Fender ...strat... Fender Tele.... Gibson LP... kahit na hindi high end ...basta original mfgr - original model.

...so I would rather get a MIA 52 RI tele.

..but I am not gassing a tele right now....ibang axe ang ginagas ko ngayon.

pero I don't  believe na there is only one ULTIMATE guitar......that is precisely why...lahat ng mga favorite guitar players nyo have different guitars....different tools for different sound and music.
