because I just spoke to an idiot rep over the phone earlier who kept on asking me the brand of the product when I already mentioned soundmagic 5 times already and just cant fvckin keep up, ill ask you guys instead.

I have a soundmagic iem in which the left part is busted(no longer producing any sound) and is still within one year of purchase from astroplus. ive read from soundmagic's website and it says there that they have a 1 year warranty on their product(not specifying the model). has anyone tried this?

I suggest going to astro to have it checked and, with luck, get your replacement item.

Ive never had problems when i took a 3 month old es18 to Egghead. They asked questions, tested it and in just under 10 mins, my replacement iem was handed over to me.

Oh and the warranty also resets. So if youre lucky in dealing with the guys from astro, try confirming if the new one they will give you has another 1 year warranty on it.

Problema kasi dyan eh yung policy ng seller o ng manufacturer. Pwedeng ang protocol ni Octagon eh sila lang ang middle people at kelangan ng extensive tests ni TDK to prove that its really broken. Yung binili ko naman eh hindi ganun kamahal kaya kahit i-reject ni Soundmagic ang replacement, di ganun kalaki ang loss. Pwede ding mabait lang talaga si Soundmagic at tanggap nilang may defective products talaga sila.

And the guys at Egghead are nice and reliable kaya dun ako bumibili.

I got my replacement after getting the original receipt photocopied. whole process took less than 5 mins..and the lady who attended to my query even tricked me on buying their evo 681 after having it tested. she gave me a weird 15% employee discount out of nowhere haha

alamin mo kung kelan shipment ng new stocks sa kanila. o kaya if youre willing, find a higher model of the same product and decide kung ok lang sayo magdagdag para makuha mo yun.

I also tried to replace my es18, but the problem is, they dont have es18's anymore, and they asked me if i want to upgrade it to pl11 instead.
So i took it, and add P200, for the sake of trying it as well...
They gave me the pl11 rightaway...
