Any recommended headphones for loud environment?
Directly above my work desk is a loud aircon.. and I would like to work in quite place. Fortunately, standard issue here is laptops, so I can move out for now.. But eventually I have to adapt to my environment.
At the same time I would like to listen to music. Using it for practicing (electric guitar) would be very nice.
Can closed headphones do the job? Or one shouldn't bother?
How about those headphones used by Starcraft 2 tournament players? They have earbuds and a headphone at the same time (which I believe cancel any ouside noise).
How about playing in a band, does musicians protect their ears by using headphones?
What's the difference between practicing with a proper Amp and headphones?
Why does Paul Gilbert wear headphones?
Also, where to buy and how much?
Thanks in advance for answering my inquiries!
With the aircon issue, a good in-ear headphones with good isolation earplugs would do, you just have to find your own size para talagang swak sa tenga mo. or you can chooose an on-ear or Over-ear type headphones which is also an option for you, ikaw na bahala, this is jsut for the isolation of sound, the sound output will vary to your taste of course.
about the WCG players, i think it's a combo headphones (phones + mic) and are really high quality and also they are isolated to a soundproof chamber while competetion is ongoing.
Protection used by musicians were mainly ear-plugs, this just doesn't eliminate noise but also eliminates the damaging frequencies to go through your ears.
well the speaker has higher headroom and has a unique output due to it's components that it's made compared to the headphones for practice. well it has it's own purpose but mainly using the headphones for practicing does the job w/o the neighbors complaining, while the other gets you the real deal when it comes to tone searching.
You can find them almost anywhere and to almost to the major brands we have you can choose, from good to great. whatever suits your taste, IMO don't use headphones that has BASS BOOST, well as i can see it's just for consumers who just want to feel the song and doesn't want to have the overall quality on how it was made up.
just my 2 cents though, hope this helps
