A. It was a product given to me by RJ because I am an endorser
B. I might get sued by RJ if I trade the guitar

Hmmm, buti na lang di ko sya inantay sa supposed meeting place namin. Sounds fishy di ba? Considering I am a loud anti RJ marketing gimmickry person.

to be fair. since punk ako, RJ guitars are perfect for me as I can wank, piss, kick on it and not worry about it. BUT if they are trying to pass it off as some sort of boutique guitar at boutique price, fvck RJ.  He is a delusional old fart.

Kaya ko sya gusto kasi pwede na ako mag ingay. Pero kung mamahalan pa nila t lolokohin ako na maganda daw gitara nila, vlol. Hahaha.

Even if I don't agree with things like "never" or it can't be possibly better than X brand, I can respect the sentiments about marketing gimmicks. I'm certain there's enough RJ threads, people who like em and those who hate it to the point of voicing out their disappointments in every thread.

Our gear experiences are all that we have to form these opinions, so who are we to tell someone what their experience to the contrary is flat out flawed, and somehow they're wrong or have bad taste? There are worse things out there than perfectly decent electric guitars at an affordable price point. The fact that it is being talked about so much with so much passion, good or bad, means the RJ company is doing something right, one way or another. And I hate that their work is cut out for them.

So how about a little decency and respect. People just want to talk about gear that makes them happy. Why belittle the experience? Especially if you have stuff that's 'better'?

See I read in another thread some Pinoy working in an autoshop in the US just hates the other Pinoys coming to their shop to show off their cars, while at the same time haggle repairs on their BMWs and Porsches because they dont want to take it to the dealership. It's the attitude people acquire when they taste a little success that's got to him. But I say let the small people have their own videoke parties or halloween trick or treats, pinoy style. If you think you're better off than most, go reach for your next happiness. There are other cars nicer than yours, and I'd love to see you happy as you reach for them.

but they are not bad either.
they are affordable thats why you get what you paid for
back in the 90s nung hinde pa talamak ang mic guitars, RJ made decent guitars affordable for the low/middle class filipinos.

reading threads like this and the replies people make....
gives me an idea kung sino ang mga dapat irespeto and sir siore is one of them

In my opinion , pag sale, and you have the extra cash to play around, why not?

In 2007 i bought a nice sounding blonde finished maple neck tele for 4k. It wasn't their typical undersized tele's that i usually see. It was a proper sized tele. while it was a top loader, It had a nice looking two piece body with a translucent blonde finish and the maple neck had abalone(looking) fret markers.  I had a lot of time in my hands when i went to their MOA branch and i got to try 6 guitars of the same specs. All of them had Fret issues. 2 sounded okay, the other 2 had no sustain, 1 tele was soo badly setup that i didn't bother playing for more than 10 seconds, but one sounded really good( amidst the terrible fret buzz), and the neck pocket was pretty snug and aligned perfectly with the bridge.

So i got it, left it immediately at micsis' house for a fret level and had mike sand off the logo and clear coat it, and when i got it back, grabe it was the best guitar i got for under 5K( including the fret level. 

After a year, i GAS'ed for something else so decided to sell it. I sold it at 5k. Sulit na diba?

and i got it for i think 5k or less( as usual sale nanaman).

Yung neck, sobra fret buzz din! Good thing the person i bought a Dimarzio Bridge pickup from knew a lot about guitars( si micsis ito by the way).
So he offered to do a fret level, and eventually a refin.  I eventually sold this at a very slight profit at 10k.

I haven't dropped by RJ stores lately pero i haven't seen guitars that had nice wood grains at a low price point these days.
IMHO dapat ayusin talaga nila positioning nila. Parang nakaka turn off yung Super Vintage na yan eh.

Mag focus na lang kaya sila at helping create an affordable DIY scene? Same parts pa din kung ayaw nila mag iba nang supplier.
Mag benta na lang sila ng Bodies, necks, guitar parts,etc, tapos train their people to help out customers in building a very nice (kahit entry level) guitar
that can beat other brands at a low price point?

Magpakatotoo lang diba? Wag na nilang subukan labanan mga mid to hi end guitars. Focus sila sa kaya nila.
