Sir Gandy ad Autoplay,

Maybe i should give it a try to fix your FF...
If may time ako will give it a try...
eto yung una kong DIY pedal with germanium transistors.
if your going to retire those pedals..  maybe i should give it a try?

Give me a month after giving me your pedal...

Disclaimer:
No promises i could fix it..

Assurance:
wala akong papalitang parts unless required.
will contact you first..
hindi ko kakahuyin yung Elusive AC128 nyo.. heheh

Hey sir rubis,

I really appreaciate this much. Though I had brought the fuzz na sa isang kakilala ko to have it checked.  :)

That's the thing with my Fuzz Factory. It says ZVEX not AC128. HOW WILL I KNOW IF IT'S THE SAME KIND OF TRANSISTOR??? And they market the FF as having a pair of these in NOS condition.

Damn you Zacharyyyyyyyyy!!!

A very, very good and fun sounding fuzz pedal nonetheless.

This i dont know..
Baka naman its the real thing pa din.. re-labeled lang

Hello pre got a real one here was thinking of maybe adding a led option with this pedal.
Can you do the mod?

Medyo madali lang to sir..
try mo buksan.. pag nakita mo yung 3pdt switch
kadalasan 6 lang magagamit nila pag walang LED.. if
yung 3 (inline) hindi nagamit.. We're in good hands..  :-D

if 2pdt ang gamit sir..  papalitan natin ng 3pdt.

I have the blunderbuss and it's an amazing pedal. Kahit sya lang mag-isa dalhin sa gig oks na. Haven't tried the musket, yet, but blackout makes amazing products.

hey guys in the know,

how does the cold affect germanium transistors like the ones in the fuzzfactory?

is it better for them or masama rin ba masyadong malamig?

I'm no fuzz expert but all I know is the ZVFF is a different circuit with a stab control.
So you can still basically tame it with drastic temperature changes.

You cannot do this with a traditional fuzz face or 2 knob tonebender.

natry ko saglit. medyo bright ng konti and medyo controlled. not much weird stuff going on unlike my black cat. but may internal trim pot and hindi ko pa nagalaw. i think tama si renz ff variant ata to.

speaking of the FFactory, Beavis Audio has a cool write up for it, particularly for the stab control.

napansin ko lang na nagiba tunog niya even with the stab all the way up when i left it over night in an airconditioned room, as opposed to the usual sound when i use it.

hard to describe pano nag iba. just found it interesting.

it's because it is sensitive to climate change temperature, just like the early fuzzfaces. Germanium is more sensitive than silicon IMO based in my experience

so, is low temperature good for it or bad for it?
