Damnit, I hate leg days.  I do them kasi may research akong nabasa, natural testosterone booster daw ang squats to failure (or near failure, hirap talaga mag-failure sa squats).

Legs is my favorite part to work out. Solo ko kasi halos yung weight room for legs. Tapos after an exhilarating leg workout, I swim for 20 laps. Then pag-uwi ice pack agad.

dati sa leg press 200-250-300 tpos yun tinaasan na naman kase nde na sumasakit ginawang 200-270-320 bale 5 sesions ko na ginagawa yan..

try to change the angle of your feet bro, tatamaan ang dapat tamaan, hehehe. kung straight ka ngayon, gawin mong inward or outward.

Sa mga gumagawa ng pangalawa, kalahati lang binubuhat nyo dahil sa angle (W x sin30=0.5 x W).  So compensate!   :wink:

mga bro, matinding tanung lang, weight loss kasi ang habol ko ngayon. so diba dapat mejo magaan lang talaga ang binabanatan ko at cardio. pero ayus lang ba mag mabigat kapag gs2 ko umayos ang part na yun? like ako everything else magaan at high reps  pero ang bench ko mabigat? i mean advisable ba yun? makakaharang ba sa weight loss yun?

Dude, I suggest that you don't go light on your weights.  You can increase your reps, but that doesn't mean magaan.  Go with something that you still struggle with, or even go to 15reps to failure.  It's not supposed to be easy.  You just increased your reps.

For bench, go with something lighter... but with a weight that you'll still get pretty messed up for 15reps a set.

If you insist on your typical rep scheme, it doesn't really get in the way of weight loss.  Imagine doing extra work on cardio, then reducing the fats in your diet, then imagine you're still pumping out the same weights... that would do something to your physique now, wouldn't it?

tnx fafa. struggle parin naman ako. everything. 3 sets, 15 reps. mabigat pero i think i can do more. ayoko i push. sa bench kasi, gs2 ko mawala tong `taenang soggy man breast so sa halip na 3 sets of fifteen na tag 60 , i go 6 sets of 15 reps sa 100.

kung man boobs ang issue, gawin mong 3 sets of 12 reps lang, tapos importante flyes, para kahit pano maging firm at di lawlaw.

meron pala ditong nag-i-increase ng weight kasi hindi na sumasakit. ibig sabihin, nag-plateau ka na. kahit mag-increase ka ng weight, its not going to do anything. you might hurt yourself in the process.

there's this technique that arnold schwarzenegger did. its called the slow grind (that's what I call it anyway). di ba ang normal mong ginagawa ninyo sa leg press eh one swift motion to press, then push it up right away. hindi nai-strain ang muscles that way. let the weight push down your legs, slowly, then pause for 2 seconds, then push it up slowly again, feeling the weight, say start with 'your weight + 50 lbs.'.

ex: you weigh 170 add 50 lbs. = 220 lbs. do 12 reps, 5 sets.

Its not how heavy you can lift or push, its the way you do it.

@panterica - you can't do it your way either, hehe. can't change the right form, there are other exercises for those parts. if you do that it will screw up how your muscles will form.
