[pichapie] musicians... your opinion?
« on: May 25, 2008, 03:00:07 AM »
ako, okay naman sa kanila. in fact, pichapies were important in the development of heavy music. like...

rob halford, and freddie mercury.

pero recently, trip ko si mika, and dati scissor sisters.

fun lang kasi music nila talaga.

don't get me wrong. i'm a metalhead who plays shadows fall and lamb of god songs on the guitar.  :-)

gusto ko lang maiba ng konti pinapakinggan ko, para di nakakasawa ang shred.

does it matter?

hindi naman ang preference nila ang pionag-uusapan sa music, kundi ang music nila mismo. otherwise, you'd have to judge anyone who's even suspected of being gay or has done gay acts. And well, that runs the gamut of all of rock, pop and heavier music.

But then, I may be biased, because I'm gay.

bwahahahhaha. that would have been a funny effects pedal - distortion with wah at the same time! hahahaha!

But seriously, there are really heavy gay bands out there...

its a modded HM-100 rehoused in a BOSS case. CGI Electronics did the mods and pink stardust paint job for me and I provided the decal design.

I know at least two local musicians from here that are gay. Well sexual preference i think is the least of my concerns as long as they put out good music.

yup. The shred master is my gain booster, the gay metal is my main dirt for metal, and the turbo distortion I step only during intros or breakdowns, to do lo-fi riffing and make the overall sound dirty with a lower volume. when i release it, the volume jumps right back for regular riffing.

ay OT na hehehe

ah, so yung shred master naman ang pampalakas, making the guitar sound louder on certain sections of a song?  :-D

heck, even in the '50s, pichapies were inventing rock 'n' roll as we know it...little richard, in particular...although he denounced homosexuality when he became born-again...

...i have nothing against playing music with gay men/women, though to the best of my knowledge, i've never had a gay bandmate.  as long as you're committed to the band's vision, walang problema yun.   :-D
