your friend is right bro! unlike any other heavy or metal bands, their music is different. they're music would make u feel good, which is weird for a heavy band. i remember listening to one of their live songs, maynard asked the crowd to just sit down & feel the music & the lyrics go through them, the crowd was really silent during that part, only a few people talking.

i love listening to their albums from the first song down to the last sitting & just letting the music soothe me. try it out! that's the best way to feel & experience TOOL's music.

i searched the web to get an answer about where he's getting his dirt sound. found out that it's his tube amps' distortions, probably from his diezels & marshall... he runs 3 heads & cabs all at the same time.

fascinated ata si danny carey sa mga ethnic symbols tsaka geometric designs.

credit-worthy rin yung boses ni keenan. kahit malakas o mahina maski pa-growl very modulated pa rin. napaka unique tipong alam mo na siya talaga yung kumakanta. arguably one of the best rock vocalist ever.

medyo OT: nung una kong narinig yung APC parang familiar yung boses di ko lang malink kay keenan agad kasi hindi kabigatan yung kanta nya (at least sa isang kanta dun sa mer de noms na album) tapos sa 13th step ko na lang nalaman na siya nga yun.

Definitely! This is one band i'd like my children to listen to in the future! Or even my grandchildren! I'll be very very proud to tell them about this band & their music.
