may plano akong mag setup ng isa pang pc na gagamitin ko as my download machine..

my budget - Php 10k pababa...

i saw some refurbished 15 inch lcd monitors na Php 3,999 lang...tapos sempron procy and 1gb ram...the hdd should be at least 120gb...

oh and the OS - Linux Fedora 9 na test ko na at maganda at mas maayos kesa unang versions...

now you might be thinking how do i connect this to your inquiry...simple lang...kung sa ganitong halaga eh magagawa kong mag setup ng pc na pang HARABAS ang gamitan, mas lalong makakaya mo yan sa 20k budget...

nga pala, nakapag quote na din ako ng magagandang setup sa mga kaofis ko na hindi lumalagpas sa 18k..naka 17inch lcd screen na yun...

ito pede ka na makalaro ng games sa specs na ito... the specs below does not include peripherals and OS... mejo lampas ng konti sa 20k so 20k-ish na siya hehe...but i'm sure kaya mo pa magipon ng konti... yung presyo sa baba galing sa dalwang pc stores PChub at PC Express... magikot ka nalang sa gilmore or browse ka sa tipidpc para mas makamura ka...   pede ka pa pumili ng ibang motherboard jan at yung harddrive depende sa capacity na kelangan mo... but i recommend yung nakasulat na jan sa baba...

sir, less than 20k me brandnew Pentium D pc kana('eto ata ung unang labas na dual core).. check mo sa tipidpc.com or punta ka gilmore,qc... dami pc store dun. just spend more time to compare there prices. nakaka hilo lang sa dami ng bumibile

iportante lang (Pag WinXp gamit mo)at least 1GB RAM para dka mabitin sa mga applications mo. 2GB RAM pag Vista

sa vid card naman, 512mb is the way to go. hanggang ngayon eh hindi pa rin ako nakakakita ng program na gumamit ng 1gb memory ng vid card ng sagad.

with a 9800gx2 with 1gb gddr3 vram You'll probably get around

Avg- 28.32 fps
Max- 46 fps

set everything to high at 1920x1200, 8x AA and youll probably wont be able to play it very well unless you use 2 9800 gx2 in quad sli total of 2 gigs of vram

unless you use the new GTX 280 cards in SLI you wont be able to play this game in those settings at 60 fps

if your a casual gamer 20 k is enough and is more than enough for most productivity software, just find the best deals in gilmore, If your just going to play games, get a console mas tipid and longer ang life cycle

Thats the reason why I dont play PC games any more, console nalang tipid na dami pa games, wala pang compatibility issues.

for us casual PC gamers a 20k is OK, it will do the job just dont expect too much. but you will probably do things other than games so for that something even lower will do

^ pc games are really fun to play basta na setup mo na rig mo... hindi din naman kelangan one time bigtime ang bili ng mga pc parts para hindi masakit sa bulsa...  imo ndi ma match ng ganda ng quality yung games sa pc in terms of graphics and flexibility of how you wanna play it... sometimes i play Call of Duty 4 using my gamepad sa pc but most of the time mouse and keyboard... i also  have an xbox360 and ps3... mas nag eenjoy padin ako sa pc games ko... hehe!

Yep mejo mahirap patakbuhin yung game na yun... but you'll be blown away on how great it looks when you start playing it on High Settings lalo na pag atleast 22" ang monitor mo... i haven't mingled with the ultra settings yet... you have to take into consideration din kung ano yung resolution mo for crysis... kasi usually ang gamit mo naman dun is 1440x900 pag widescreen... but i do play it in 1680x1050 kayang kaya no sweat ng ATI 4870 on high settings...

Try mo din Grid... sobrang nakaka distract sa ganda yung scenery lagi ako nababangga kasi ang ganda ng itchura ng tracks, cars etc... and malakas din siya sa resources...

anyway back to the topic...

i suggest get Gigabyte or intel na mobo para tumagal ang lifespan ng pc niya... para pede na siya upgrade ng upgrade ng ibang components...
