BEST INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER
« on: October 20, 2009, 08:22:59 AM »
HI guys. I am a smartbro user, and I'm kinda satisfied. But I've read some bad reviews for smart, globe, sun and pldt subscribers. I just want to know what is the best Internet Service Provider? Don't mind the price (as long as it is still below 4-6k per month. Speed is what I am looking for. Users will be just 3 peeps at the same time.

I'm a myDSL user. I think I'm getting the bang for the buck. A couple of months ago, my modem got busted, 10mins later, a technician went to my pad and replaced it. Speedy service. I've been hearing good things about SKY too.

Agree. For wireless ISPs (+ the prepaid Plug-its), it's up to how good the signal is in your area.

For residential services though (DSL, Cable), it depends on the network infrastructure in your area. Kung Legacy parin. Kung NGN na. Kung may fibre na. Etcetera.

So far, i am satisfied with Globelines. Although their CS is really something else when it comes to the irritate factor. LOL!

in terms of speed I get more than what i paid for.

Some say that SUn's wireless broadband is also a great solution for note book and net book users.

what you're experiencing is probably a server downtime. DSL providers do that sometimes to have their servers rest for a while they usually schedule them when there's almost no one using the service. But it sucks when you really need the DSL during that time. I think in our area, the downtime is at around 3-4AM.

yeah. it's kinda' like cheating us, the subscribers, since we're paying for a 24/7 DSL connection.

lately, ive been experiencing problems with my SUN broadband wireless.. i live in cubao btw, what i thought that ill have good connection became nightmare. ive heard worst cases with other wireless ISPs as well. im thinking of switching to either destiny cable internet or bayantel.. any first hand experience with these ISPs? PLDT is out of the question; customer service? onsite technician? it will take you ages before they can fix problems with yer DSL...

we also have that in Globelines. But, they really should deliver a 24/7 connection even if they would give you a rebate. Hassle kasi.

Of all ISP PLDT-DSL ang pinaka ok with regards to connection and service in general no doubt talagang namaster nila ang information technology, ang problema lang i think ay yung billing statement medyo malabo dahil minsan nageexceed yung charges and di nakaindicate kung alin yung para sa phone and ang para sa internet.hope mabasa ito ng mga pldt peeps.thanks.

LMAO. epic ka talaga ever. oist. kelan tayo mag uusap? nag aantay pera mo. lol

PLDT - now dubbed as PLDC. these guys have had the worst reviews every where. And they're expensive.
Smart bro - meh. what if a branch from a tree grows directly in line with your signal to the cell site?
Sky - when it rains, it so freaking pours! one of my agents uses this. i get calls from her EACH AND EVERY TIME THERE'S RAIN.

GLOBE BROADBAND - Been using it for two  years. Started with 1mb. Then i put up my work at home call center agent business. Upgraded to 3MB. Epic speed is epic. Since I work at night. I'm clocking at least 3 DL and 1 UL. Sometimes it goes to 5-6MB DL speed! Lulz. And. It's cheap - 2.4k per month.

Next step. Leased line from a private company. 1MB lang pwede na. Porn galore na yun.  :-D
