ASUS, MSI, ACER or HP?

Mga sir, Im planning to buy a laptop. Budget ko is 30k. Abo po sa tingin niyo ang pinaka-ok diyan sa apat na barand na yan?? At bakit po?? =)

Saan gagamitin??
--> web browsing, MATLAB and konting gaming..

For that price range, I'd go for ASUS or Acer.

but I prefer ASUS. Got my ASUS K42J laptop for 34k (originally 36k) discounted if cash-based.

6 cell lion battery matagal po kaya 3.5 hours pag nag weweb ako at gaming

pag core i5 nasa 40k pero kung core i3 34-35k yata..

akin kasi yung core i5 2.4GHZ quadcore na yun..ewan ko lang sa core i3 baka dual core lang yun..
maganda din sa gaming..babad pa ako sa gaming dyan lol noong july ko lang nabili sa akin..

Eto nga yung nakita ko kahapon. 31K daw sa Gigahertz sa SM North. Baka eto na talaga kukunin ko kasi ASUS din talaga ang preferred kong brand..

I'm an HP user at home (desktops). But for laptops? I wouldn't bet my money on HP's consumer products. If you are going the HP route, go for the enterprise laptops, but it will cost you 80K and up.

At home, we used to have an HP dv series laptop (consumer grade, 17"), the build is flimsy for me. But the NX series I used at the office (15" and 17") are all rock solid, comparable to the old IBMs. I dropped these laptops accidentally (about 3.5feet) and no damages internally, just some dent outside.

Also have the K42Jr, ok ito, may XP Drivers pa sa website. Kung gusto mo ng mas mura K42F, di sya naka-Radeon, bumili din kami, 28K kuha namin. 30K plus pa yung J. Got it for 32.5K months back. Sa ibang brand kasi, good luck finding XP drivers. ASUS complete ang XP drivers. Ni-dual boot ko kasi yung akin.

san ba mas mura bumili ng laptop? sa US or pinas? suggest na din kayo ng models. gagamitin lang sa pag surf ng net, works sa school, play DVDs and media player.
