sir, are you pertaining to the CMOS battery?
how can i go to BIOS upon bootup if CPU can't read the HDD and there's no display on the monitor?
take note that:
the HDD is working on other PC, as well as the said monitor.
di ko lang alam sa RAM niya, pero ayos naman yan dati.
wala ring video card yung CPU, so i'll also remove the LAN card?
at minsan pag turn ON ng PSU, ngaautomatically turn ON din yung CPU.
im not sure if were referring to the same battery. look on the motherboard, theres a round battery there. tanggalin mo, tpos ground mo. pano mu igground? may 2 metal prong sa ilalim nung battery, tpos may metal latch sa side(eto ung nipress mu pra matanggal ung battery), ground mu ung dalawa. reset jumper, might help as well. reseat P1/P2 on the motherboard.
now, if ur saying that the harddrive and monitor is working on a different computer, theres a BIG possibility the its the motherboard.
im thinking that the built-in video card is busted, thats why you have a blinking(orrange, i suppose?) power on the monitor whenever you turn the computer on.
hows the status of the HDD, does it have any light upon bootup? and, do u hear the windows logon on yer speakers. y did i ask? this is one way of isolating the problem. since u dont see anything on the screen, IF the HDD is working fine, you should hear the windows logon sound, right?
pag wala, your MOBO is not detecting the HDD. try mo ibang SATA port sa MOBO, sna lng SATA. hehehe! pag ganito uli, malamang MOBO.
2 reasons:
no video on the monitor - monitor is using the builtin video card
HDD not detected
try mu uli toh, it might do the trick.
