Hi, let me elaborate what my title implies, meron kasi akong vox pathfinder 15r, while it's a great sounding amp and all pag gusto ko mag jam along a certain song medyo mahirap kasi walang aux - in na jack.
Meron lang tong mono out at headphones out, so sinasaksak ko pa yung vox classic rock amplug ko sa mono out at dun nag kakabit ng aux lol
may paraan ba or may alam gadget ba na maganda pumagitna sa mono out ng amp ko at sa aux in ng ipod?
-
I usually play along with my laptop and PC speakers.
-

wag muna mag practice
-
guitar + effects > Blackstar HT5R > aux out > Stax headphone amp
PC backing tracks > Stax headphone amp
tama ba?
-
yes sir ganun na nga guitar>effects>amp (mono out/headphone out)>amplug>ipod>headphones ganyan setup ko din
mukhang mahal yung stax a haha.
wag muna mag practice
haha, e yun lang libreng oras sir! lol
-

Guitar>effects>AMP> tapos amp headphone out to sound card line in> headphone/speaker
not the best quality but it works :-D

ok din ito basta wala latency sa line in. minsan kasi may delay pag "monitor" mode sa line-in, kaya hassle pag sasabay ka sa backing tracks :)

download 'asio' for all
may latency pa din pero inaudible na.

yup great suggestion! :)
this should work for Creative and most soundcards :)
just stay away from Asus Xonar D2 and it's brethen. it's the card that I have and the latency problem with Windows Vista and Windows 7 is still pretty much incurable :)
-
pwede rin loop station.
guitar>effects pedals>loop station>amp input :)

found this a while back:
"Okay. I have the solution. Right click the speaker icon (on windows 7) on the task bar then left click on "recording devices". Right click on the microphone and left click on properties. Go to the "listen" tab and make sure the "listen to this device" check box is unchecked. Okay now close the microphone properties window. The "sound" window should still be open. Go to "playback" tab, right click on speakers and left click on properties. Then click on the "levels" tab. You should see a microphone section with its playback volume muted. Unmute it and increase or decrease the playback volume as desired. There should be no noticeable delay when you speak into the microphone now. :)"

haha thanks for the advice, ganyan din ginagawa ko pero parang di ko makuha yung balance ng mic in ng soundcard pag ganyan e, parang sabog parati.
sakin naman, walang latency mic in ko with or without asio. pero mukhang best solution na ata talaga diy na box thing na malalagay ko sa gitna ng ipod amp at headphones haha.
hassle kase pathfinder walang aux in, great amp though
edit, okay kaya mag invest sa isang guitar trainer gadget?
-
can you elaborate on guitar trainer gadget bro?
although the discussion might be off-topic already :)

i think pasok pa din tayo sa topic, nakita ko lang sa net yun e, basically para siyang cd player na pwede mo saksakan ng headphones, aux in, guitar in at cd para makasabay ka sa songs, pwede din islowmo yung songs, quite cool, pero not sure kung worth it mag invest sa ganun haha
para atang mga headphone amp yun without the amp haha
-
gamit ka ipod/player with earphones. tapos yung amp with Headphones.
Bale parehong nakasuot sa tenga mo yung earphone at headphone. LOL

Hehe ingenious ito sir ah!
Ako naman usually pc with speakers lang, at yung amp medyo mahina. Then unti unti kong nilalakasan ang amp over the pc speakers as I get more confident with a certain lick/song. :)
-
yup... hehehe. ok naman.
haha funny enough tinry ko nato hahaha saket sa tenga malamang pag di pantay volumes haha

Here is the guitar trainer from TASCAM, It's a tascam GB-10 wherein you could slow down the music without changing the pitch. Yung latest uses SD Card na instead of the CD-player and plays Mp3.

problema dito, di pwede gumamit ng mediaplayer(for backing tracks) habang tumatakbo ang guitarig or amplitube!
