sama na rin kmi! pero meron kaya? gig na libre? hmm  sino kaya ang production na magpapagig ng libre? posible din kaya na sa mayrics ang venue? cguro if meron man free gig or no ticket selling na to, wala dn naman cguro manonood at wala dn naman kwenta mga amps tsaka drums na ipapagamet. coz the fact alone na "gusto natin ng mga free gig or walang ticket selling", that just imply na wala man lang effort sa tin. wala dn naman magdadala ng guest sa tin na pwede dn tumulong sa mga production na to. buhay. we always think of OURSELVES or ung KAPAKANAN LANG NATIN. its not two way or mutual. we're selfish. admit it guys.

KERMIT PRODUCTIONS...We don't require our bands to sell tickets...and we also promote them by making cd samplers,its a  compilations of their songs for the guests of that night...we just give it away for free!!! check us out kermitproductions@yahoogroups.com thanks and more power!!!

yes, yung retribution limited sa metal, hardcore, and punk bands. but currently im also helping out a friend with his production, thats why im also looking for bands that play music of various genre like rock, ska, reggae, electronica, funk, etc.. hopefully mag-materialize lahat yung plan para masaya ang tugtugan. hehe.

The usual, bands usually audition for us. Or, they are recommended by friends. The hitch lang, bands have to play at least 50 percent New Wave, yun kasi ang idea noong binuo namin ito nung 1995. It went on monthly until 2005, when we decided to slow down. We all have our jobs to attend to. . But we hold the event once in a while, and they're all full-house events at Mayrics. Yung batch kasi namin (matanda na kami, he he he) ang may financial capability to drink dahil may mga career na yan (30s to early 40s). originals are also welcome, basta 80s inspired. Anyway, madami din namang bands ngayon ang 80s inspired, iba lang ang approach.
Some bands, if I may name drop, who played New Wave covers for Back to the Edge are the Eraserheads (all The Cure covers si Eli and the gang), The Youth, Color it Red, The Dawn, Half Life Half Death, Names are for Tombstones, Dream Kitchen, The Automatics, Orange and Lemons, Dead Pop Stars, Sleepyheads, Shiela and the Insects and many more.
PM mo lang ako. Baka mag-hold tayo any month soon.
