guitar has always been my passion

...pero when i started working, everything changed.

my guitars just stayed on the wall.
my effects are hidden in the stock room.

my amps are dusty.

nakakatamad kasi mag setup lalu na pag pagod kana, tapos ikaw din mag liligpit.

hnd ko na matandaan yung mga kantang alam ko.

haii...i don't want my love for guitars to just fade away

nalagpasan nyo na bo itong stage na ito sa buhay nyo?

may post si Phil sa isang thread na kung gusto gagawan ng paraan kung ayaw maraming dahilan...

kahit na busy sa work naisisingit pa rin yung time sa pag gigitara...

ako naman, weekdays nasa Manila weekend sa Bulacan... friday pa lang gusto ko ng umuwi, para sat morning nag gigitara na ko kahit busy mga kabanda at ako lang mag isa, ok lang, lalo na kung may new toy akong dala hehe

feeling ko pag hindi ako nakahawak ng gitara pag weekend may kulang... tapos pasok na naman ng monday... sheeessh! sira weekdays...

it's all in your mind... 

iniiwan ko ng maayos yung gear sa kwarto pero pagdating ko madali ng ayusin...

i love guitar weekend... magkakaroon na rin ako ng guitar weekdays

dati, when i practice with my band, we don't want to stop anymore kasi ang sarap talaga tumugtog! lalu na may sarili kaming studio.

ung 3 ko ka band, di nag bago...ako lang medyo nag lie low kasi parang tinamad ako, hnd sa mga ka banda ko kundi lagi ako pagod sa work.

hnd kami maka gig dahil sa akin, nakalimutan ko na mga solo ko pati chords ng mga kanta. badtrip talaga.

sir, i've started working din and sa call center...stressed and pagod and parang no time to play guitar kasi tamad na nga and parang pagod. pero you know what keeps me alive and playing? it's the mindset of "i don't want to be left behind"...

a good practice would be trying to put the emotions you feel at work sa playing mo and you discover something new. or like try to watch live bands play and see what you have missed. or buy a new guitar..it works...

and maybe you should rephrase the question and ask yourself na instead of "paano tanggalin ang katamaran sa panggitara" eh "anu bang hindi ko pa natutunan gawin or anu paba ang diko nalalaman?"

and believe me everytime you hold the guitar it always feels like the first time...mindset po sir..and try to remember why you wanted to play guitar...work is not a hindrance...its a motivation..parang..."sweldo GEAR GEAR or sweldo LESSONS LESSONS...yun po ang motivation ko ..

serious advice??  ok ill give it to you.  only you can find the answer to your question.  me I never lost interest in guitars. period.  attended dental college, then preceptorship programs in surgery and implant, finished orthodontics, took up nursing as a second courser (uso e), i am presently a member of an elite rescue team somewhere in manila, weekend scuba diving trips to bauan. it's a must that i play guitar at least two hours a day maybe more. no excuses!  and still manage to run my office well.  I have two kids and a lovely wife to take care of.  if you catch my drift.

Mapalad kaming musicians sa church, every week talagang mahahawakan mo guitars mo. ^_^
Hindi lamang basta pag-gitara, kasi every week iba-iba songs, tapos kailangan mag-rehearse talaga every Saturday for Sunday Worship service.

Nagtrabaho rin ako sa call center dati ng anim na buwan. Nag-eensayo pa rin ako araw-araw.

Baka naman less time on the net and more time with your axe ang kailangan.

ako naman, hindi na ako makapag-gitara dahil sa studies. hirap pagsabayin ang pagiging musician tsaka student  kelangan magserysoso sa pag-aaral para makapagtapos at bumili ng gear ko after college

may plates kami(puro drawings) nakakapagod din sa kamay kahit papaano pero ang pahinga ko mag gitara pa rin... hatid sundo ako ng parents ko pag mag start at end ng semester kasi dala ko yung aking trusty cd player, cds, cassette tapes, gitara at kung anu ano pa...

ngayong working years... nakakagana nga pag may bagong "toy" pero minsan naiisip ko rin na hindi ko kasi nahahawakan madalas yung gamit ko kaya napupunta sa ibang bagay yung atensyon ko kagaya sa classifieds at dito sa forum... can you feel me?

It seems the negative pangs of a busy career life is catching up on you. I have two jobs at the moment and yet i can still find the time to practice and recently had enjoyed being active here in Philmusic and was able to meet nice friends, and i believe there are other forumites here with a more hectic schedule than i have and yet they can still find the time to play the guitar, its just a matter of time management brother. If you say your lazy and tired then perhaps you need some stresstabs to keep your energies up and pumping, and keep reminding yourself about your goals with the guitar, if not, i guess you can't afford to keep feeling lazy and tired while you slowly forget how to play you precious instrument.
