time will come magiging sight reader din ako ....heheheh... ito ang self confidence ...but now natigil ako sa self study.hirap talaga lalo na kapag puro negrong nota na at daming bandila, di sapat yung two months note reading lessons ko before....GodBless

hi sa mga fellow drummers.. :-)

naiinis ako kasi nahihirapan ako sa lahat na to..

gusto ko kasi sanang:

1. makagawa ng effective na 32nd triplets..
2. masanay sa paradiddles/dragadiddles/flamadiddles..  :-(
3. makapaghanap ng oras para makapagpractice

at higit sa lahat:

4. practice pad para magawa ko lahat to.. (kc maingay ung snare) :-(

kung ilalagay ko mga current frustrations ko...naku mahaba talaga yun...eto konti

-madevelop na yung left hand ko (please!!  :cry: )

-maperfect ang flam roll (hindi na pala flam ang ginagawa ko nung last eb  :oops: )

-tumino ang right foot ko (nakakapag double stoke ako kaso hindi tama eh, kahit sabihin ko na dun ako nasanay eh....hindi pa rin nga tama!  :lol: )

-research! (dun ako tinatamad eh  :cry: )

here is a new frustration for me..

wake up late everyday and then play the drums the whole day and play gigs at night then still have my salary every 15 and 30th of the month....get my gears for free..... :evil:

Frustration ko magdrums...alam kong kaya kong matuto pero kelangan ko pang magimprove sa instrumento ko (bass at guitars), sana bigyan tayo ng panginoon ng 48 hours a day. Para kahit madaling araw ka na matulog, maaga ka pa rin magigising at hindi ka pa puyat. Sarap siguro pag marami kang oras para i-devote sa pag-aaral ng maraming instrumento.

not being able to listen to other genres!!!!!
not being able to make constant timing
not being able to do a moeller stroke properly

here are a few of mine:

- I can't find a comfortable position for more comfortable playing of double pedals... T_T
- Stamina! recently mejo madali ako mapagod...
- Hindi ako makapag praktis! palagi nalang nakakain ung oras ko ng plates ko sa Archi.... T_T
- kung lang pa setup ko... wala pang pera!!!!!!
- still trying to incorporate that sliding foot technique...
- GF din... miss ko na siya! T_T nasa canada kasi eh....

Try to listen & study as many musical style as you possibly can.
Build your confidence by grabbing all the opportunity to jam with different musicians. Socialize with them,not just during the jam sessions but everytime possible.
Dont put too much emphasis on creativity just for now. Just play for the fun of it.

Suwerte mo nga madami ka nakaka-jam. Its where you learn the wisdom of drumming!
Ako, mag-isa lang talaga sa ngayon. Dito lang sa Philmusic may nakaka-jam thru forum :lol:


Overtime pa lagi sa office...walang time para sa practice....

Nag resign pa yung kasama kong pinoy sa trabaho, wala na ko makakausap ng tagalog sa opis...

Official na break-up namin ng gf ko for 4 years......at last!

Sira yung washing machine...

Nagloloko yung starter ng heater sa banyo.....

Bumigay na din yung tv..... :roll:




Malamang maging pokpok na lang ako nito every weekends :|

1. Bihira na ako maka logon sa Philmusic dahil sa dami ng trabaho

2. Wala na akong funds para mag soundproof ng room kaya naiwan ko yung kit ko sa bahay ng parents ko

3. Dami kong gastos sa paglipat ng place

4. Wala pa yung salary increase namin  na dapat e nung January 2007 pa lumabas  :cry:

5. Di na rin ako maka-attend ng mini-EB

b) walang money for GAS
c) walang money for GAS

e) kung free naman ako para magpractice mag-isa ng drums, dapat 12-1pm and 5-7pm lang. badtrip.
f) walang money for GAS
g) walang money for GAS
h) walang pera para makuha yung acrylic kit ni mr. tito marquez
i) walang money for GAS

Ung mga skills nyu, tulad nung kay intake..

gus2 ko nung

1. buzz roll,

2. ghost notes

3. shuffle

4. ung isang paa lng sa pedal ung gamit mo pero tunog FLAM ng dobol peds, (both rightfoot  and left!)

5. bsta lahat, haha! pero fav ko talaga ung mga foot work, tsaka rollings!

6. gus2 ko din nung habang nagroroll ka sa snare drum eh, may pagka-DRUM LINE ung effect   

7. INDEPENDENCE!(Akira Jimbo anlufet!, may utak ata lahat ng parte ng katawan nun eh!),

8. Double Bass/Pedals(ung tipong ala Derek Roddy/Joey Jordison/Virgil Donati ung speed)

9. ODD TIME! ( Mike Portnoy, anlufet sa odd time, pati si Vinnie Colauita)

Wee!... at higit sa lahat:

10. PANO TOH!~ eh mag-aaral na ko sa college for BS Nursing!... super busy na ako!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry:..

Pinakamalaking frustration ko ang political scene sa minamahal kong Pilipinas.  :-(

bro graduating na drummer namin from nursing.. hindi naman sagabal sa mga gigs and practices....
