you know ... that Orange and Lemons things baffles me to this day. i mean, they are obviously VERY TALENTED song writers, so i really do not know why they had to resort to directly ripping off Chandelier. it just doesnt make sense.

as for Andrew E... i think he is a great businessman. musically, i do not think he has any talent at all. he is the type of guy that would hit a preset drum beat, hit 2 notes on a keyboard, and rap on something that would entertain the masses - which is usually about some sexual escapade.

Deadline? Di naman kasama sa album nila yung kanta na yun, parang ginawa talagaga para maging big brother's theme, siguro nag set ng deadline ang ABSCBN, kaya ayun nalang, nag resort nalang sila na mangrip off ng influences nila, at di naman nila inisip nun na may makakapansin.

my friends who joined the muzikademy hosted by mccoy and janice hung (ata name nun) had the opportunity to sit down with them together with some other known folks in the industry and talked about stuff in the music business. it was ABS-CBN's daw deadline talaga. since sobrang busy na raw sila nung time na yun doing gigs and whatnot, they have resorted yang pagrip-off nalang nung song na yun

tama si Incx..magaling naman sila magsulat ng songs...palagay ko talagang na corner lang sila into ripping off the song..medyo masyadong malaki yung nakatapat nila..corporate level...and besides..naging mutal naman yung pag suck ng dugo sa isat isa...with the abiased networks influence, power and heavy marketing napropel ang OnL into rock superstardom...

pero kakalungkot padin malaman since paborito ko yung song nila na yun..

You can't rush art. So siguro di na talaga nila nakayang gawan ng original na music yung song. Swerte parin nila the song was a big hit! Laki ng kinita nila dyan in fairness to them.

come to think of it, OnL is very good on those sap sounding love songs. those were their biggest hits - my fave was Splendid Love Song. they did not have an upbeat hit song (in my limited knowledge at least) ... siguro when ABS-CBN got them to write a theme, they kept on having their submissions rejected, out of frustration they ripped off chandelier and was like "what the hey? we like this song, its fun playing it, it might get rejected anyway, lets just give them something" then lo and behold, the network loved it!

so after 50 rejections they were tired and was like "well, they liked it and its not a common song ... let's just go with it cause i really do not want to work on this project anymore... plus the money is good."

sadly, they lost their credibility because of that. oh well ... sometimes little things like that bite you.

Yung Kay Andrew E na "Humanap ka ng Panget" Ganun na ganun din dun sa isang kanta ng rapper nung 80's hindi ko na maalala yung pangalan eh at ang title parang dikit din sa Humanap ka ng panget.

Not dissing Greyhoundz pero yung Party at 802 katunog ang bassline ng Valley of Chrome ng Cypress hill pero yun lang naman ang observation ko hindi naman panonotto yun. DI gaya ng nasa taas na Halimbawa!
