Wala naman malas lang talaga sa ibang areas.  384kbps lang subscription ko pero umaabot ng 800++kbps paminsan-minsan.

Oh yeah....... Although "mabilis" is relative...pero di ko na ma-take ang internet connection sa mga net cafe'...........lalo na dial-up. 192 kbps lang dapat 'to, burstible to 384 sa gabi by changing the user name. Eh kaso yung 384 kbps na user name, gumagana kahit di madaling araw :D

smart wifi din ako eh...

ang masasabi ko lng halos lahat ng internet providers pag tumatagal na

pumapangit na talaga service nila..

madalas akong may nababalitaan n sa dsl minsan 2 weeks walang connection

badtrix un.. lalo n kung pang negosyo...

Yung sakin (yung 2,500 na plan)...it's been going really smoothly. Once in a blue moon lang magloko. :)

Naka Bayantel din ako, branded as SkyDSL. Their lowest plan is now 256kbps, jacked up to 512kbps from 10pm to 10am. Dapat ma-upgrade ka to 256, better ask them about it.

mga problems ko?

1. april 2005, nagkanakawan ng telephone cable dito sa amin. 1 1/2 month bago bumalik yung DSL ko at dialtone ng phone, Malas nga lang talag a ako nun.

2. nov. 2005, nag report ako sa pldt since kc nagpakabit ako ng DSL majority nakukuha ko bandwidth is 190 - 370 kbps (pag sinuswerte naman nakaka 700kbps) lang pero ang plan ko is 1995, naka usap ko yung gunggong na taga datanet, sabi nya sakin may aayusin lang daw siya, biglang binaba yung phone, then pag kababa ng phone, nawalan na ng dialtone ang phone namin. akala ko nagkanakawan na naman sa area namin, pala kami lang nawalan, nireport ko 3 days na wal pa rin kami dialtone pumunta na ako mismo dun sa PLDT office sa pasig, mag hintay daw ako may pupunta daw, 5 days na wala pa rin, ginawa ko nag abang ako ng PLDT lineman sa kalye tiyempo may nakita ko pinakiusapan ko na tignan naman at "LALAGYAN" ko na lang siya. ang ginawa niya nilipat na lang niya ng line and poste  yung phone # at DSL namin, inabutan ko siya ng 500 pesos.

3. then nung pinapa down grade ko na yung PLDT plan ko sa 999 na lang since yun lang naman, eh biglang sinabi na 2 yrs pala daw ako naka lockdown so di ko pa pde pa disconnect kundi mag babayad ako x3 nung monthly ko w/c is 1995 x 3 as disconnection fee para madisconnect at para makapag paconnect ako ng bagong DSL na plan 999, kc pag downgrade may downgrade fee na 5k pesos pero pag uupgrade ka walang fee, mga negosyante talaga mga gunggong.. ang sabi nila kaya daw 2 yrs ako naka lockdown naka sali daw ako sa promo nila, eh wala naman akong natanggap o kung ano mang nalalaman na promo nung kijanbitan ako ng DSL.

4. walang kwenta customer support nila, puro mga OJT eheheh walang alam na gawin na solusyon pag tumawag ka kung, sir pakipatay po yung modem niyo at PC niyo at pakibuksan po ulit isa isa.. kaw pa pagmumukhain [chewbacca]. pag wala nagawa sir gawan ko na lang ng report then 5-7 days bago ka tawagan nung tech support nila talaga na taga datanet, pag nimalas ka pa 2 weeks.

5. minsan nasira yung DSL modem ko pinapapalitan ko 5 days na wala pa rin pumupunta sa amin para palitan, pumunta ulit ako dun sa PLDT office sa pasig, hindi daw sila nag papalit dun hintayin ko na lang daw yung darating na tao sa amin, ang ginawa ko inalam ko kung nasan yung mga barracks ng mga lineman sa pasig, nakita ko pinuntahan ko nakitak o yung binayaran ko ng 500 para mag ayos ng linya namin dati, pinakiusapan ko na palitan yung DSL modem ko, buti naman ayun nakinig sa pakiusap ko..

6. ngayon ang plan 1995 dapat 700kbps na ang bandwidth nakalagay sa site nila, ako 300 - 500 lang, tinanong ko kung bakit dun sa CSR ulit nila, ang sabi "natural lang daw nun, ibig sabihin daw na 700kbs eh yun daw ang possibleng max bandwidth ko na makukuha hindi dwa ako dapat lagi ganun, dba parang ang labo naman nung sagot niya ? natural lang daw na 300 - 500 kbps lang makuha ko at pasalmat na lang daw ako pag umabot ako ng 700kbs ?

mga manggagancho yang mga yan nakaka inis, unang una yung downgrade fee nila na 5k for life na un, then lockdown na 2 yrs within 2 yrs kapag pina disconnect mo may babayaran ka disc fee na x3 ng DSL plan mo. nakaka inis sobrang mga manggagancho.

dude ginawa ko na yan.. ni print ko tapos dinala ko dun sa PLDT office sa pasig, hindi daw nila alam kung anong ibig sabihin nun LOL... gagawan na lang daw nila ng report may tatawag na lang daw saking taga DATA NET.. pesteng mga taga Datanet na yan. ako pa sinisisi ng mga impakto dahil dalawa daw ang PC ko at naka router daw ako. eh hindi naman sabay tumatakbo yung 2 PC na yun at kahit tanggalin ko sa router direct connect isang PC wala pa ring pag babago eh pina ping ko pa sa impaktang taga datanet na yun hanggang sa na justify na sige tataasan niya daw bandwidth ko, tumaas naman nging 400 to 600 pero pagkalipas 3 days back to normal 180 - 300 na naman.

hahehehe. Lipat ka na sa SkyDSL parang kami ni pinoymusika hehehe. P899 lang and not bad ha. Even the "basic" phone that comes with it for P450 eh me kasama nang value addeds like call waiting etc.

Nung una talaga, bad trip, October ko sya sign-up, and it was intermittent for about 2 months despite repeated "polite" calls, hanggang napika ako (mahaba pisi ko) pinag-mumumura ko literally yung mga tao sa helpline and threatened to email their VP for Customer Care (ex Bayantel ako e kaya kilala ko mga top bosses). Ayun, they moved heaven and earth, sent linemen and technicians multiple times here sa house, changed my modem and when they got it right, been happy ever since. Wrote an email congratulating and thanking them and apologizing as well for my "irked customer" conduct. See...being an arsehole has its place in the scheme of things at times :D

By the way, you can file your complaint directly with the NTC, they have a quick complaints desk there...dunno if things have changed though. Doing this will give them a headache and they'd rather lose money making you happy than have to deal with the regulators.

By the way, wak masyado dependent on the speed tests. Me daya yan. I should know :D .

And they're not very reliable when using a provider that has a proxy cache stable, kasi those servers will have a separate line to the internet...mas matulin than your own pipe ang lalabas na speed at times. Like sa kin dati...128 kbps ang "pipe" ng client ko pero mas malaki pa dun ang lumalabas sa bandwidth testers hahehehe. Don't focus too much on those numbers. Mas mahalaga yung happy ka sa general speed na nakukuha mo and the experience you get when browsing or downloading stuff.

Like I said, ako...sa 899...happy na ko talaga sulit. One to sawa ang videos and soundclicks and no problem ang webcam chats.

pldt lang avail sa area namin, kahit land line.. minsan may nakita ak olineman ng globe, ang sabi hinaharang daw sila nmg PLDT maglagay ng line sa area namin ayaw daw pagamit ng line.

talagang nakakabilib ang dsl mas mabilis kung pira sa dati ko nung isang linggo biglaan talaga mukhang pinatindi and kbps ngayon eh 512 kbps nakapag surf lang ako sa internet pero sa download bibihira na lang kaya astigin ang dsl. :)

ganun ginagawa ko sa test speed mukhang may daya talaga sila or it just a glitch doon sa website ng dsl pero pag download ko ang bilis kaya glitch lang talaga pinoproblema nila,

at yun nga sana ipaplano ko ngayon eh kaso 512 kbps sapat na sa kin mag surf at kung ano ano pa mag download lalo na sa online games kaso bokya ang online games lalo na ang korean ragnarok online plano ko pa naman mag laro ng private server kaso hirap hanapin sa google. :?

Our office is on PLDT MyDSL. A couple of months ago, PLDT MyDSL was down for 2 weeks! I of course signed the petition.

Our home is on SkyDSL. No complaints so far...

oks naman pldt dsl e reklamo ko lang talaga un customer service nila sobrang bagal .. wala ka naman magawa dahil un sumasagot sa pag tumawag ka sa help desk e call center. daming slackers na empleyado ang pldt.

Ako naman, i submitted a formal letter of complaint nung nagdown ang inet sa shop ko for 1 week, yung 1 week na yun, kaya na bayaran yung phone bill ko, so i said in my letter, i won't pay for the month na nagdown yung net ko kasi nakaka-delay sila ng business. after 3 months of not paying the bill, inilagay rin nila yung rebates ko which amounted to 5k+ a month's worth of my phone bill.

P.S.: Breach of contract sila sa 24/7 technical support kasi TECHNICAL support yun hindi TROUBLESHOOT support. Tsaka even a 5 year old can do their troubleshooting. And hindi accessible ang call centers nila pag gabi. tsamba kung may sumagot.

ako marami nakong naexperience sa napakabulok na service ng pldt .. may it be dsl or mismong pldt na phone.. dun sa dsl nakapa walang kwenta ng tech support nila. may time na lagi ako nadidiscon sa dsl ko every minute may dipersensya ata sa box nila. tumawag ako dun sa tech support nila isipin nyo 2 weeks bago dumating. 2 weeks ko halos di magamit ng matino un dsl. then yun dumating dito .. parang di nya pa sure kung baket nagloloko nagchecheck sya then sinabi nya nababalik daw sya ichecheck din nya daw sa datanet nila. hindi na bumalik ganun padin after a week nun pumunta sya saka lang naayos.

sa pldt phone naman. nawalan ng linya un buong street namin coz parang natamaan daw ng mwss or dpwh un wire nila ganun. so ayun ni report namin un so kala namin gagawan nila ng paraan agad. 1 week na lumipas wala padin kaming phone ( business line un sa office namin ) so tumawag kami uli biruin nyo ba naman un sagot samin na nde daw nila aayusin hangat di nakipagsettle sa kanila un nakasira coz di naman daw sila un nakasira. anong klase yun?! umabot ng 3 weeks or 1 month bago napaayos un line sa office namin. lugi na agad un negosyo sa kanila palang. sorry guys kung dito ko vinevent un pagkabadtrip ko sa kanila share ko lang un bad experience ko sa pldt.  hindi ko ba alam kung mismo empleyado nila un tamad or alam talaga un ng upper management  :x

IMHO hindi maganda ang pldt myDSL dahil mabagal na nga at hindi pa maganda ang kanilang customer service kaya Globe na lang gamitin nyo

PUNYETANG PLDT YAN!!! Simula nung lumindol sa taiwan hindi na naayos connection ko! Lag na lang! Business account pa naman ako! pag nagDDL ako hanggang 12kbps lang kaya samantalang umaabot hanggang 150 kbps dati dito! Sinubukan kong i-complain sa Office nila kaso sabi ifo-follow up ko na.....50x na ako dumadaan dun wala pa ring action!

nag-okay sya mga last week ng jan, tapos ngayon tinopak na naman nung feb
daemonite, on SmartBro over here in Fairview, we only had a lag for a few hours after the quake but we were never cut off. The lag was more on the sites being accessed, including Google. The one that caused a signal loss about two weeks after was what they called a signal loss at a base station, the structure which our antennae is directed to. After about 6 hours (and some 45mins on the phone just to get to a customer support rep to talk to: their tech support leaves much to be desired, no doubt), we were up and running again.

Meanwhile, over at a Dos Workx branch 5 mins away (on PLDT DSL) the week after the quake, they still did not have internet access.

Just a heads up; if your business is based on PLDT's service, I think you should not have doubts about switching. Although they are of the same company, the technology may contribute to the stability, or instability, of your service. When they gave you a rebate, the stress and other non-financial loss you experienced were not even properly compensated, so why stick it out? In my opinion, you'll still be experiencing the same, given the track record.

Other servers to consider, based on user feedbacks (read: friends of mine) are Bayantel/DSL (my guess is selected areas only), Destiny Cable (faster than wireless), Eastern (most stable, most expensive). My two-cents.

Buhayin ko lang po. . .

I recently upgraded fron vibe to mydsl. . . the speed is relatively good, what sucks is the decieving commercial they have of having mydsl and a phone line at the same time.

Dun sa commercial it would seem that they're saying you get dsal and phone for the price of one just like globe but it turned out the phonebill is different and you still have to pay the phone rental. pwede kayang i-reklamo to for deceptive marketing/advertising.  :x

I agree, kukuha rin sana ako nuon pero masuwerte lang ako at matino yung nakausap ko sa PLDT sinabihan niya kaagad ako na hindi pa kasama yung phone line duon... I think, puwede mong i-report siya sa dti (?) if you really felt deceived.

badtrip talaga pldt dsl na customer support. nasabi ko na ata sa ibang thread na 3 weeks bago na ayos at pinuntahan dito para ayusin. kahit tawag na ako ng tawag puro salita na aayusin na. ang badtrip pa sa lahat. ka kwentuhan ko yung nag ayos akala ko mabait. P*ta pinahiram ko GTA san  andreas na DVD sabi babalik daw agad. hindi na siya bumalik!!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:

Yung lahat ng sites nag dns error hanggang ngayon lkaya nagi-  internet cafe ako parati.

Binayaran ko pa yung  bill ng DSL ilang beses ko nang tinawag sa kanila di naman inaayos sabi nila may grid daw na may problema. Sobrang tagal na (4 weeks pero di daw maayos ayos ng engineers yung problema) Nakakainis nga lang kasi di pa mairefund ng madali. Sabi kailangan ko pa daw pumunta sa billing department (hay! bakit kaya sa ibang companies i.e. globe, skycable, etc.. automatically hindi na papabayaran sa yo?) Ewan ko ba sa PLDT sobrang sama ng service.

Hanggang ngayon walang nangyayari at malas ko lang kasi nakalock ung phone and dsl service ng bldg namin sa PLDT.

The best pa rin talaga ang Globe.

may bago na silang plan ngayon....

990 - internet connection(bandwidth not specified) and a phone line...

sana kahit 512 mbps lang papatulan ko na yan...

ok naman ba yung 384kbps na yan o baka mas mababa pa nakukuha mo? minsan kasi pag sinabi nilang 384kbps eh marketing strategy lang yun at parang naka 56kbps ka...ewan ko kung hanggang ngayon nangyayari pa yan....

check mo sa speedtest.net pre...

hintayin mo lang na magkaproblema yung linya niyo and your DSL will never be the same.

nakaka ingit naman kayo ang bibilis :( sakin 384kbps pero hindi naman umaabot sa ganun. minsan mas mabagal pa nga sa dial up eh.

Dati Smart Wifi gamit ko. Lage na lang nag kakaproblema lalo na pag naulan. Kaasar yun lalo na pag nag oonline games ka.  :-D
Tapos pinapalitan ko ng PLDT MyDSL. 4 months ko ng gamit ngayon at kahit isang problema wala pa ko na encounter. Ambilis pa ng connection ko, 1.0Gbps compared sa Smart Wifi na 100.0Mbps lang.

yung plan 1299 na 700+ kbps nagiging plan dial up eh..kainis..dati nakakaabot ako ng 500-600 kbps download..mga streaming sites ambilis..ngaun >> 80-90kbps ..anak ng kamote..sobrang bagal!..kaya d nako naniniwala dyan sa speedtest.net na yan e..sinasabi na .76mbps download speed..pero hnd naman talaga..haii
