yun pala yung may ADMU sticker! saw that on sale during my early PM days..hahaha..bagay sa iyo yan Frans! ikaw na ikaw!! and it found its way back to you so..may mysterious forces working! hahaha

parang ok pagtripan yung offset kit! patira nalang kena micsis or mang max yung finish..tapos soup up yung electronics..basswood siya noh.white or black paint w red tort! haha

true Nat! kinekwenta ko yung hassle eh..and di pa natin alam quality ng parts at wood nyan..pagnabuo..baka it wont sing..for the hobbyist lang yan..hahaha forget it..mas may dating nga yung jagmaster in my opinion din..hehe

This guitar has quite a history with me and my old band. I'd lend it to my old band's guitar player and all sorts of horrible stuff would happen. Dude got hit head-on by a jeep (those [gooey brown stuff] public transport vehicles in the Philippines). One time he used it to fend off attackers, the damn thing is heavy. Another time, he guitar spun the thing and the strap broke (the fabric by the strap peg), launching the thing into an unlucky audience member's face. Eventually, I gave up on guitar since I started doing electronic music at the time. I ended up selling it to a friend. Years later, I started a band with the guy I sold it to and he accidentally broke it after going Thurston during his other band's set. He sent it to a repair shop and it ended up sitting there for months. Eventually, I had enough and offered to buy it back from him.



Tl;dr
Sold it to friend. Bought it back. Guitar hurts people a lot.

I'm a happy camper. Will mod the [gooey brown stuff] out of this. How tho? I was something something like an ADH Jazz-stang or Bilinda Butcher's Mustang. What do I need tho? I want to have this refinished in midnight wine (sparkle if possible) and put a JM trem on it + 1 meg pots. How did you guys do the mods on yours?

The ADH Jazz-stang seems to be a really cool idea but what if I ended up keeping the short-scale neck? Would it look too cramped even if I have the bridge pickup moved a bit further?

ADH (andrewdoeshair of OSG) lives really close to where I live. I like most of his guitar monstrosities, haha! My only peeve is that he has never accepted my request to make me a custom offset.

What? Snsnob ka ni Andrew? I've been consulting that guy on his custom builds and he's been okay with me for the last couple of years... though I'm actually a bigger fan of Paul's(Stereordinary) creations. Mas malinis at pulido gumawa

Paul is the classy, refined one. I like Andrew's builds because they appear to be really clean yet still have the rawness of DIY spirit to him.

Haha! No, he didn't snob me. He's pretty cool with my inquiries. But he did decline my custom request. He politely explained that he's not taking custom orders at the time because of his job and neck deep projects.  Have you noticed what he said in his signature?
