I'm not sure if this was posted before -- Fender Japan Limited Spiderman Mustang

When I saw it at Ishibashi late last year, I thought it was a joke. Turns out it was launched just the week before I arrived in town. Talk about alternative punk... this is the perfect guitar to play a Ramones Spiderman cover

To also add to that line, there will be more variations for the Fender Pawn Shop Mustang when it comes to finishes apparently. I remember going through the Japanese Fender site and seeing a white paint finish (they don't even have that paint color below for the US market AFAIK), but the sunburst that they'll be offering looks badass too.

Was there too! Actually, most of the other bands at the Laneway festival were also using offsets as well! If I find my photos I'll post some pics here.

I think it's in the $500-600 camp.

My Pawn Shop Mustang ran around $800 at Guitar Center at the end of 2011. They nowadays fetch at $900 based on research online and in catalogs. These new ones in the lineup may have prices along the $800-$900 range as well.

To add: I'm glad the newer sunburst Mustang from this line has a truss rod access hole at the headstock. The red and blue paint models don't have that built in.

i think the newer models will be MIM, the previous one's were japanese made
