Very Commendable ung sa JB Southmall.

Maliit ung space, though ok na rin. pero What i like is that, I ask one of the bass amps (Laney RB8) sa baba, ung pinaka dulo,

ayu, mga 4-6 amps ung tinanggal para lang buhatin ung RB8 , ewan ko at ang attentive nila sa mga request ko, alam kasi nila na bibili ako, kasi dinala ko ung vintage amp namin (genesis series) for 30% discount sa amp.

partiday may mga patay na ipis, sapot sapot at itlog ng ipis ung lumang amp. hehehe..

Sa Perfect Pitch Megamall, yung mga staff dun I don't want to call them bwisit pero medyo suplado sila. So hindi ako sa kanila bumili, I went to Yamaha instead, and there is this cute and very accomodating girl named Melyn who assisted me when I asked to try a washburn bass.

So, I will go back there one day to see Melyn again, oops to buy again pala.  :-D

anyways.. buti nalang nagreresearch ako from highschool days na indie post punk grunge..brit pop music../60s era music fan- na walang alam sa guitars...


until now na nagaassemble ng sarili and rewire ng gitara ko. at mas bagets na ang mga nagbabantay sa mga stores na yan. nakakatuwa nalang sila tignan. nakakabilib sana kaya ko rin magfocus sa speed kesa sa tone ko. welenewey... di naman kaylangan ni muddy waters and SRV nun.

Audiophile Robinson's Forum nakaka walang gana yung isang staff, last year ata, nung wala pa kong budget nagtingin ako ng mga gitara dun para maghanap ng pagiipunang gitara may nag accomodate naman sakin, sumasagot naman pero yung parang experience ng iba dito sasagot pero nakatingin sa iba, para bang gusto na nyang umalis ka. Obvious nya sigurong di naman ako bibili at nagiinquire lang. tinamad tuloy ako nun magipon haha.

Pero madami din good experiences, Audiophile Makati Square accomodating tinuruan pa ko mag eukalele nung isang staff haha ayos. Lyric Moa ayos din,  thumbs up  :mrgreen:

Had a bad experience last year sa Perfect Pitch Megamall. Wala dun yung guitar na gusto ko kaya sabi nila kukunin daw nila sa warehouse nila. Nagconfirm naman sila na sa following Thursday nandun na sa branch yung gitara. Ako naman 'tong excited, nag leave pa para lang makuha yung gitara. Pagdating ko sa branch wala pa dun tapos naka leave pa yung kausap ko. Pag tawag nila sa warehouse wala naman daw instruction na ilipat sa branch yung gitara. Tsk tsk tsk!!! Buti na lang mas madali kausap ang mga tao sa Buendia branch. Dun ko na binili yung gitara plus amp pa.

If customer service taas kamay ako sa mga taga yupangco buendia, Lyric Rockwell, and Lyric Glorietta.

Everytime na mag tatanong ka ng particular item at wala silang stock, tatanungin ka ng "kelan niyo po kailangan?". Yung dating is parang pilit nilang ibinebenta sayo yung tinanong mong item. I was like, di ba pwede magtanong kung may nakastock kayong item so I can test it prior on buying the item? In my experience sa lahat ng pinapasukan kong music store, JB Music is the worst on all departments when it comes to doing their trade.

I'd have to agree with this. Although I get most of my stuff from JB, it's because they have the things I need.

Weird enough, inTune staff always ask me what I need, even if they don't carry them. TMS staff are also quite helpful, though so far I've only bought cymbals from them.

umorder ako ng mic na worth 8k sa channel.com.ph nung friday (october 3) so nag down din agad ako the same day ng 5k via BDO money tranfer.. sabi nila makukuha ko yung mic ng within 1 week at sa tuesday pa nila ma process yung papers dahil walang pasok sa monday (october 6) dahil Eid al-Adha Day ang monday..

okay... wait mode na ako until...

nung gabi ng friday din na iyon namili ako ng gift sa mall. napadaan ako sa JB music store at nakita ko yung mic na inorder ko sa channel.com and to my surprise 6.5k lang ang presyo nung mic. 1.5k less than sa channel.com... i was shocked at thought how idiotic am i! since gabi na wala na ako magawa kundi mag hintay the next day to cancell my order...

saturday morning (october 4). after arriving at my office i immediately called channel.com, so the operator speaks "hello channel.com", me "hi im ***** yung umoder sa inyo kahapon ng mic". channel.com "ay yes sir good morning", me "papa cancel ko nalang po pala yung inorder ko". channel.com "sir, nako hindi po kasi kami nag rerefund", me "wala pa naman ako nakuha sa inyo ah?", channel.com "wait lang sir" (i heard murmuring in the background tila may tinanong at kinausap yung operator)... after a few second... "sir so kukunin nyo nalang po yung pera ninyo?", me "yes po mam, may papupuntahin ako dyan mga after lunch para kunin yung pera"

afternoon came nag text sa akin yung channel.com na dumating na daw yung tao to i called them immediatly to confirm na yun nga yung tao.. channel.com "hello channel.com", me "hi, its me ****, regading dun sa mic", channel.com "sir ano yung complete name nung pinapunta ninyo?", me "sya po si (giving the complete name of the person)". channel.com "okay sir, pero sana sir sa susunod hindi na pwede yung pag cancel ng mga order ha" me "ah, okay pasensya na" (though i was really shocked she just told me that, but i just apologized politely), channel.com "kasi sir pag order ninyo sir pinaprocess na namin yung papers, sabi nyo nga sir wala ka pa naman nakukuha pero kasi inayos na kasi namin mga resibo nyan", me "pasensya na po maam" (but this time im really really pissed off! im just controlling my temper) ang hung up the phone...

well what can i say about channel.com with my own experience with them? first of all, it all went well until i saw/knew what the price difference of the item i ordered from them when i saw it at another store and it was completely my fault. now i know na mahal mga product sa channel.com.ph... the ugly part at sa tingin ko na kung bakit hindi na ulit ako oorder sa channel.com ay dahil dun sa kausap ko na pinangaralan pa ako na sa susunod daw bawal na mag cancel ng order... first, walang transaction silang ginawa dahil sabi pa nila na sa tuesday pa ma process yung order ko dahil walang pasok sa monday. kung meron man transaction na naganap ay sa part ko lang dahil ako yung nag hulog sa banko.. second, bakit nila sasabihin na walang refund? ano yung pera ko kanila nalang basta basta? it leads me to think na paano kung nakakuha nga ako ng item sa kanila at defective so hindi ko na pala mapapalitan yun? and im left with no warranty. ill never going to buy any items from them again...

Just went to Audiophile Robinsons Pioneer this morning as the mall opened and went straight to Audiophole. As I was opening the door to enter, the guy inside was pushing it back. Eventually, I let go and he said 'sir, hindi pa po ako puwedeng magbukas kasi mag-isa pa lang ako'. I said "OK" and walked away. As I went back to the area about 5 minutes later, I saw one of his colleagues coming into the store, and presumably he was late as he was hurriedly running towards the store's entrance. From afar, I saw that the sign was still flipped to say 'Closed' so I didn't bother going because I had to go to work.

Anyway, the point I am trying to make is that these guys who man stores should really make it clear if stores are closed or not. To be fair, the sign did say 'closed' when I was trying enter, but the damn door was [strawberry] open! Oh well, I just hope someone from Audiophile remedies this protocol of theirs because it's downright stupid to say that your store is open during mall hours when clearly it takes its sweet time after the mall has let people in before they do their business.
I'd rather be sharp than flat.

I just learned din na reseller lang pala ang channel.com. so sa mga JB Music, Audiophil, Yupangco lang din sila kumukuha ng mga item para ibenta nila online kaya mas mahal sila... i thought nga na reasonable yung price nila until i found out yung price naman sa JB... minsan kasi kagaya ko may mentality na pag online mas mura! well its not always the case! lesson learned!

hehe, thanks for  the heads up nalang din...at least alam natin not all online shops sell at good prices... and nakakaasar kasi..ang kups pa nila na hihiritan ka pa na "kesyo sa susunod.." blah blah... eh right ng customer yun! anyway..ganyan talaga systema eh..iwas nalang sa website na yan in the future..

yun nga ehh... naiingit tuloy ako pag nababasa sa mga online store review sa ibang bansa na pag may problem sa transaction or usually sa unit nila, pinapalitan ng store - no questions asked! sila pa mag so sorry sayo dahil sa aberya... hindi ka pa pag mamalakihan na ginawa na nila trabaho nila! well, isipin ko nalang nasa pinas ako... glad it was over, at hindi na ako oorder dun... now, im happy with my new mic..

yun nga ehh... naiingit tuloy ako pag nababasa sa mga online store review sa ibang bansa na pag may problem sa transaction or usually sa unit nila, pinapalitan ng store - no questions asked! sila pa mag so sorry sayo dahil sa aberya... hindi ka pa pag mamalakihan na ginawa na nila trabaho nila! well, isipin ko nalang nasa pinas ako... glad it was over, at hindi na ako oorder dun... now, im happy with my new mic..

mismo! dito, ganun..ako pa nga nahihiya at madaming iniisip..pero in the end wala naman silang paki..nasanay kasi ako sa pinas..na nagiisip masyado na baka madaming sabihin at hassle ka pa...etc...
iba talaga ang culture sa pinas..

naalala ko..dito bumili ako ng 1 spot na nagamit ko na for 2 months..tapos narealize ko may buzz siya..which is common..naman..basta hindi ako nasatisfy...binalik ko...ayun nirefund pera ko..NO QUESTIONS ASKED..
sa pinas..papatagalin pa nila yung pag balik sa iyo ng pera..papadaanin ka sa butan ng karayom..for what?! 500 php?! wtf...anyway... 3rd world problems..haha

If we get some products from any supplier we don’t overprice, we follow suppliers’ srp and it’s just sad there are times some suppliers go on sale and give the same discount to both the consumers and dealers. It’s a painful reality especially for all dealers/resellers. But just the same, we follow SRP. And in this case, the price of the item you ordered was  at its SRP. It just so happen that they went on sale. Had been that there was no sale, the price of the item you were supposed to buy from us would have the same price as JB’s.

I think our staff were able to refund your payment as soon as possible. It was clear in your post that they didn’t let you wait a long time. I believe they did what was right especially when you said that you needed a refund because you have an emergency.

As a consumer, you have the right and responsibility to research and find the best product with the best price. We didn’t force you to buy from us and you placed your order at your own will. We are always happy and thankful to our customers. We owe a lot from them. But we hope consumers would also understand that  once you purchase something, the responsibility is not one-sided, first decision comes from the customer to purchase after carefully studying about the product specs, price, etc, then once order is placed, it’s the responsibility of the store or merchant to prepare it and assure good condition. For the price, it’s also the responsibility of the merchant to follow right pricing, and we do. We don’t overprice, we follow suppliers’ srp and it’s just sad there are times some suppliers go on sale and give the same discount to both the consumers and dealers.

the ugly part at sa tingin ko na kung bakit hindi na ulit ako oorder sa channel.com ay dahil dun sa kausap ko na pinangaralan pa ako na sa susunod daw bawal na mag cancel ng order... first, walang transaction silang ginawa dahil sabi pa nila na sa tuesday pa ma process yung order ko dahil walang pasok sa monday. kung meron man transaction na naganap ay sa part ko lang dahil ako yung nag hulog sa banko.. second, bakit nila sasabihin na walang refund? ano yung pera ko kanila nalang basta basta?

it leads me to think na paano kung nakakuha nga ako ng item sa kanila at defective so hindi ko na pala mapapalitan yun? and im left with no warranty. ill never going to buy any items from them again...

If in case a customer purchased a defective item from us, we will always replace it with a good and working one. There shouldn’t be an argument with that. We know the rights of our customers. We are consumers ourselves.

its so strange kaya nga online dapat mas mura...kasi nga walang overhead on running a phsycial store..weird..
-   FYI We have both a physical store and an online store.  We put up an online store for many reasons, but one we will cite here is because we want to serve our customers nationwide. Be rest assured that our prices are based on the suppliers’ or manufacturers’ SRP and/or on fair pricing.

hi channel, thanks for reading my post. but i dont think you understand why im pissed, on the technical point of view oo nakuha ko yung pera... pero, para sabihan pa ako na "pero sir sana sa susunod bawal na yung pag cancel ng order ha. kasi sabi nyo nga wala pa naman kayo nakukuha pero kasi pina process na namin yung papers as soon na nag order kayo"

okay, that being said. nung umorder ako sa channel.com nag set ako na mag hintay ng 1week dahil ang sabi sa akin sa tuesday pa ma process ang papers dahil walang pasok sa monday and take note - friday ako umorder at open ang channel pag saturday pero maliwanag na sinabi sa akin na sa tuesday pa i process ang order ko...

bakit ako bwist? hindi nga po technicality or legality dahil nakuha ko naman yung pera at hindi rin naman po iyon talaga ang kina bubwisitan ko. besides this thread is all about Bwisit Na Tindero Sa Music Store.. polite po ako nakipag usap at titanong din ako bakit ko kinancel - well alangan naman sabihin ko na "ay maam kasi sale sa JB kaya doon nalang ako bibili 6.5k lang... kung sa inyo ako bibili masasayang 1.5k ko"... pwede ko naman sabihin yun bagkus ako pa ang humingi ng pasensya and its quite an unpleasant experience in my part..

As a consumer, you have the right and responsibility to research and find the best product with the best price. We didn’t force you to buy from us and you placed your order at your own will. We are always happy and thankful to our customers. We owe a lot from them. But we hope consumers would also understand that  once you purchase something, the responsibility is not one-sided, first decision comes from the customer to purchase after carefully studying about the product specs, price, etc, then once order is placed, it’s the responsibility of the store or merchant to prepare it and assure good condition. For the price, it’s also the responsibility of the merchant to follow right pricing, and we do. We don’t overprice, we follow suppliers’ srp and it’s just sad there are times some suppliers go on sale and give the same discount to both the consumers and dealers.

responsibility ko nga and in fact sinabi ko sa unang post ko na how idiotic i am dahil nakita ko sa JB na sale.. kung ang sinasabi ninyo na kasalanan ko nga, well kasalanan ko nga talaga dahil may mentality ako na pag online mas mura at ngayon alam ko na na its not always the case.. ang pinost ko na ito also serves din para sa mga PMers na malaman nila paano makatipid at hindi na din sila mag kamali kagaya ng pag kakamali ko.



pagkakuha ko ng pera nung saturday diretso JB and saved 1.5k!
