good day sirs.

i'm looking for a 16" floor tom. san ba pwede makabili ng floor tom lang or
san kaya pwede magpagawa nito? i know si master peeves ang taong dapat lapitan
kaya lang i know he's very busy kaya baka deadmahin lang nya ko.

nah dude, i have more time on my hands than you could imagine. im just lazy that's why i couldnt do more than i really want to do.

bakit 16 lang? why not go 18, it feels like a real bass drum and will sound better. space wouldnt be a problem since its not much bigger than a 16. just buy the parts and bring them to me. one day lang naman yan

peeves is highly reccomended when it comes to this...bea and i we're able to test his acrylic toms...and whoooawwwww....we are both surprised with his creation...more power peeves...

question would it be ok soundwise to add 8", 10", and 14" acrylic toms (those tulad kay sir peeves) sa fernando set?

@ sir peeves mgkano naman kaya kung magpapatulong sau (cut bearing edges and drill lug holes and gromet holes) mgkano kaya hoops for those toms sa lazer and lugs and yung mounts...

mga dudes sorry wala ako masasagot sa presyo ng parts. iba iba parts na gusto natin, iba ibang sizes din at iba ibang configuration. hehehe kahit nga lazer iba iba prices e, try mo bumili sa market market at sa festival mall, magkaiba prices nila. kayo na magestimate:

1 bass spur 475 delete from
1 short tension rod 10 to 15 pesos
1 long tension rod 22 c
10x7 acrylic shell 1500 (tulad nung akin)
14x5.5 acrylic shell 800 (tulad nung kay gep)
10" hoop for 6 lugs 120 pesos each
small lug tulad nung sa kin 35 each
big lug na parang sa pearl masters 95 each
double ended lug pang snare 65 each

i dont have all the prices. mas maganda bumili na lang muna kayo ng lahat parts tapos dalin nyo sa bahay para mabuo ko.

^^^ again, its a subjective question...it will always depend on the one who hears the sound

i like MY acrylic for their big sound. it might be because i choose shallow toms over the standard ones. it might be because my acrylic shells are thicker than my wood drums thats why they sound louder and project more. it could be because of better heads, im using aquarians on the acrylics against remo pinstripes on the wood.

hands down, MY acrylics sound better than MY wood drums to MY ears because i get more sustain out of them.

maybe if i own a pearl masters or any other high end wood drums, my opinion on my acrylics would change.

lapit lang no prob. kailangan lang ng L-rods at heavy duty stands talaga. we cant setup the kit without them so we cant finalize this if nobody volunteers to bring them.

kung may magvolunteer, tuloy natin this weekend sat evening. 6pm onwards lang ako pwede.

tapos gep, baba ka na lang sa mrt guadalupe, dun kita hihintayin...kung matutuloy

ok na yun ginawa kong 16" BD. hindi na muna ko magpapagawa ng extra FT.
ok naman sound. since i used the JG 16, pwede kom parin syang gamitin na FT.

kung magpapagawa ba sayo, i like wood sana. where can i buy those stuffs?
Planning to make another snare like 12" or kung pwede 11". para terno dun sa 16" BD ko.

maliit na set-up lang.

o kaya hanap ka ng extra tom, cut down na lang pero oorder ka pa rin ng snare wire abroad.

ano bang smallest size ng hoop na available dito sa pinas para sa bottom ng snare?
or can i just bring it to a machine shop and sila na mag cut para daanan ng snare wire?
