thanks... :-)

Hmm.. Wuhan Cymbals! These are my new personal favourite cymbals after playing with my dad's vintage A Zildjians for more than 10 years. I've got an 18" China and 20" Medium Ride S series which are both flexible both in studio and live. Pakinggan nyo yung recoriding namin ng banda ko dito sa UK with these cymbals at http://www.myspace.com/thetamarins (click on tracks; she gets and miner blues.)

Alternatively, panoorin at pakingan nyo yung live recording video ko sa You tube. Yung 18" China and 20" Ride ay nasa parehong right side ng kit.

hope this sheds some light.

Sir Im just curious. Oriental, Wuhan, and Istanbul Radiant pinapipilian ko kasi eh..Thanks!

Wuhan 12" and 18" China cymbals = INSTA-GAS!!! I've shifted from Zildjian Orientals to a cost-effective option.

Went to Lazer's at Ali Mall last week, wala pa silang 12" China.

wala pa akong cymbal na nakikita locally made.. most likely china talaga gawa yun (as with everything else within an affordable low-price range)

oo nga, most probably sa china din gawa yung wuhans from lazer. though i'm still curious if it's really made by the same wuhan manufacturer who makes the traditional chinas. i tried to do some research, but i can't seem to find any info on this "new model" sold in lazer. didn't help that wuhan doesn't have an official site, so hindi pa rin talaga ako sure. is it possible that they labeled it as "wuhan" since it's probably made in wuhan, china? 'hope someone can enlighten us on this.

in any case, if it sounds good, the branding shouldn't stop drummers from buying it - especially since it's really affordable compared to other brands.

it was the actual reasoning behind the name since it was made in wuhan china, hence the brand "wuhan" cymbals! :-D

ay oo nga.  :-D what i meant was:

"is it possible that they ALSO labeled it as "wuhan" since it's ALSO probably made in wuhan, china?"

the main thing that many of us want to find out is if lazer's wuhan cymbals are made by the same manufacturer who's known for their traditional chinas.

oops, sorry haha! they don't have much info online, let alone the lazer staff having any ideas if their wuhans are the actual authentic wuhan traditional chinas (the one that neil peart had kinda stuff) but if by some lucky chance I stumble on some info i would try to get back to you on that..

+100! as long as it sounds good and within an affordable range, rawk lang ng rawk!
