Whirlwind makes their own cable, the color blue, on the other hand, Belden also makes their own snakes, matigas nga lang, good for installations and not for gigging, the beauty with Belden, the cables inside the snake is already color coded, so Hindi sya mahirap buoin.
Pro co Duralink maganda for gigging. manipis lang sya kahit madaming channels, malambot, and matibay. We use one (Duralink 12x4) which is already 15 yrs old, and still works very well.
Yes, these cables are quite expensive, but, compute it, if you buy an equipment that is expensive and how long it will last, divide the price by the years it will last and you will see, mas mura sya in the long run than buying a "less expensive" one, which will last just for "x" number of years, after it wore down, you'll have to get another replacement right?
