Linkin Park's newest album --- Minutes to Midnight

Linkin Park just released their newest album --- Minutes to Midnight

What do you think of this new album? And the song "What I've Done"? There have been many reviews abroad about the album but I'm curious as to what our kabayans think of the album. Do you think it still has that distinct LP sound?

Should you need more information about MTM, please go to http://www.lpfans.net

The making of the album and of the video can be downloaded there as well.

their guitarist used a strat sa new album, and sobrang apparent siya sa What I've Done, dinig na dinig mo yung difference between his old PRS.

I haven't heard the entire album yet, but based on the new single itself, I don't find anything different. What I've Done can easily been a part of their old album, nothing special about it.

Maybe they've toned down on rapping?

there's still some rapping in the album. i'd say, less crunching distortion, more overdrives, and you are partly right, they've lessened the raps.

mas tahimik, mas malinis ang album compared to the previous 2
mike shinoda focuses more on production, kaya ilang tracks lang ang may rap or
kasama siyang kumanta i think 2-4 tracks only 8-)

Hybrid Theory > Meteora > Minutes to Midnight

Hybrid Theory is still the best album for me :-)

Astig talaga tong bandang to. Nobody can replicate chester's voice. Parang Skid Row na walang lead guitars. Hehe. Hirap gayahin

its not the same linkin park as before...they've definitely matured musically but i don't know if that's what the ahrdcore LP fans want...its true that the sound of rap-metal seems a bit overused these days...

but overall, its a great effort for a band that was known for its rhythmic rhymes and its solid vocal...not as good as the other reinventions i know...but good enough for me... :-D

they included this track (what i've done) sa soundtrack ng transformers.

gusto ko rin yung song ng disturbed sa soundtrack ng transformers. astig talaga.

Where the hell did they get the idea to let Mike Shinoda to play a guitar?!
The music 's "vibe" is still the same since Meteora.

Mike Shinoda playing guitar!!  :-o   hehe  he's playing guitar eversince but  he's a rapcore.

I'm disappointed with their single release "What I've Done". I know there are better songs in the album.
