Oo i agree sa jogging, kasi kahit anung diet pag walang jogging or tinatawag na cardiovascular exercise. Di ka din magiging healthy at makakapag pababa ng timbang. :-D

kung mahilig ka sa kanin - 1/2 cup rice na lang
sa ulam - umiwas sa taba
more veggies
more fruits
at more exercise

mas maganda yung pinagpapaguran...sinibukan ko yung slimming tea na yun kaso nakakainis...sumasakit na pwet ko kaka jebs ayaw pa rin tumigil...

ngayon bawas kain na ako at exercise sa umaga...

punta ka kahit saang grocerry meron nun. kulay green lalagyanan niya na may mga chinese characters. tea nga pala yun. no side effect naman herbal kasi yun.

Seriously, Bawas kain at regular exercise talaga kelangan.

Nagbabawas din ako ng itmbang ngayon eh. Di pa ako makapagenroll sa gym kasi inuubo pa, pero pumayat na ko mula nang tinigilan kong kumain sa gabi.hehehe!
Bale, yogurt saka saging o apple ang kinakain ko sa gabi. Iwas kanin saka karne.
Sa tanghali, seafood lugaw, o yung lugaw na may century egg na katulad ng sa chowking.
Di ako sure kung tama yung diet ko, pero hindi nman ako gutumin kasi na kundisyon na sikmura ko na konti lang ang kinakain.
Ngayon, nasa pang apat na butas na yung pinaka-hook ng sinturon ko. Kumpara nung 2 months ago na nasa pangalawa!  :-D

generally, there are two real ways of losing weight:

1.) less food intake i.e. diet
2.) exercise/increase physical activity


i really dont recommend dieting and eating those "bird food" ... eventually you will get tired of it and you will be pigging out on KFC and gain back your weight with a vengeance.

try looking for a fun physical activity... im avoiding the word exercise, cause lets face it... exercise is hell boring... not to mention it leaves you breathless, sweaty and smelly... and oh, it piles up the laundry bills too.

im saying this from experience cause ive been fat all my life... but i discovered a fun physical activity (no, not sex... honestly... even if you have 2 hour sex everyday 5x a week, 3 months straight, you wont lose weight. i am certain of that) ...

from 200++ lbs, i dropped to 150 lbs, before i got into a relationship with my ex ex gf and that bought me to where i am now (back to 200 ++ lbs).

oh well, just to give a little visual...

this was me BEFORE i started having fun with martial arts. i tried those diets where i only eat fruits and vegetables... have oatmeal for breakfast... etc. it NEVER lasts for more than 6 months and before the year ends, i end up looking like this:

this was me when i was exercising 5 times a week and absolutely have NO CONTROL over what i ate (i think i weigh 160 lbs here). forgive the corny pose... you know... when you've been fat all your life sometimes you just wanna have a picture where you get to imitate a thin, fast guy like bruce lee. id also like to add that when you exercise, you tend to not eat much. i know its the opposite of what ppl told you that exercise increases your appetite. its not true. boredome and inactivity increases your appetite.

this is me currently when i spent 4 years of having no control of what i ate and stopped exercising. the coolest thing here is that it takes you that long to gain back all that weight.





honestly i dont enjoy taking/posting pics of myself being at 200 lbs ++ now *lol* but i just did it to inspire you perhaps :)

currently... im getting back on track with the "active" lifestyle. ill probably post a new photo or something after a year.

it usually takes about 4 months before you feel your pants getting a little bit looser and you get to pull your belt a bit tighter... after a year, you will lose enough weight to begin buying medium or small sized t-shirts.

i hope the pics inspired you cause im the type of person who doesnt come from an athletic family and all of us and my cousins are fat, my genetic code works against me but well, i won the battle before... its just i got careless and overconfident.

i dont smoke nor drink though... so i guess it helps that my heart and lungs are clean.

what i love most about being thin is that eventhough you dont listen to hiphop... you can do things like this:



and oh another thing, those small sized t-shirts are kinda cool cause you can fit them better when you pack your hiking bag during the holy week, hehehe.

Actually, Im not really that fat. Its just that Im already in my thirties and feel that I dont have any muscle tone in my body.
My tummy is unproportionately large if to compare to my limbs...not to mention my large head to my average height. I simply want to become lean- much like Bruce Lee.hehehe!...and to be honest, I want to look at least five years younger than my actual age!  :lol:

Most of my officemates think that Im just 28, but Im actually far older than that! Those flatteries had inspired me more to enroll in a PF program and to watch what I eat...and hopefully give up smoking in the near future...Syempre, tumatanda na si lolo kaya kelangan mag ingat-ingat na. hehehe!

Hope I can post some before & after photos here soon!  :-D

ang laki ko ngayon kamo! hahahaha ... pero i can usually outlast those smaller guys when it comes to sit ups - wag mo lang akong i tabi sa gym instructor kasi na try ko na ... lamang ata sya ng 10 bago tumigil, hahahaha...

stretch marks, kahit dati pa... i think first ever napansin ko yun was when i was 14. i told you bros i was fat all my life... genetic ang pagkataba namin. if i managed to become thin. i think everyone one could REGARDLESS of age and schedule.

I did that before. From 245, tapos I went way down to 164-168 range.

Ngayon I'm about 180-190, hehe. Depende pag sinipag akong mag-gym at wala practice sa banda, ayos ang healthy eating ko.

Losing weight is actually a change of lifestyle.

Ika nga, nothing lasts forever. You will always revert back sa nakasanayan mo na. I don't have pictures or me when I was at 245, but you can ask my ex-gf. She now lives in Australia and works at Darwin Hotel, she'll tell you how big I got and when she saw me 6 months after our sad, sad breakup, she was amazed that I looked like what I looked like back in my college haydays.

Anyway, don't think about dieting. It doesn't work. Eat healthier, its much more simpler. Fiber is your friend when you are changing your eating habits. If you eat food with lots of fiber, you tend not to be hungry quick. Also eat carbs that are slow burning. The key here is "Whole Grain".

Cardio also plays an important part of it. You need your heart pumping at an active speed.

Try this one for starters.

In a 120 minute cardio, with minimum stride (let's say running/jogging/walking/climbing), you'll most likely burn calories at a range of 300-700 (depends on the pace). Now you think, dang, a 2 hour run, doesn't sound too appealing.

Do this then. Split the 120 minutes within the whole week. Lets say Sunday is rest day. You have 6 days to do 120 minute cardio. That would only be about 20 minutes, or 5 songs from your mp3 player.

Not so bad right?
