Sobra lulupit ng mga to, Cavite based sila at malimit sila sa mga battle. Medyo tagal na rin nila sa battle scene, wala kang itatapon sa mga miyembro, surprising nga na di pa na pipick-up ng mga recording companies mga ito since hasang-hasa na at hinog-na-hinog na in terms of playing skills, showmanship, etc.  In a related story, I just picked this article from a blog of a friend, I asked permission to post it here because of its story relation to Sagisag, hope the peeps here will find it helpful:

Politika sa Battle of the Bands

Last weekend nanood kami ng Battle of the Bands in one of the Barangays sa Lipa, Batangas.

Nakaka lungkot isipin, na kahit and mga paligsahan sa musika ay pinopolitika rin, to think of it a band like Gayuma who started from scratch and worked their way-up should be the first in promoting and helping out other budding bands achieve their dreams (tumulong nga sa mga citymates at tropa nila, but in a badtaste, out of delicadeza, Gayuma members should have declined judging the event when they knew that their friends (tropa) were competing as well), they should be setting examples of good deeds, not acting like politicians, mas corrupt pa nga ata mga to sa mga politiko dito sa amin.  These were my idols back then but this incident was the last straw. Noon pa naman, I was really hearing stories na about these, but seeing it with my own eyes and experiencing it first hand was really shocking.

Para wag na kayo mabiktima pa ng mga ito, just remember, kung judge ang Gayuma sa battle na sasalihan nyo at may entry din ang Tatlong Tala at Mismo, boycot nyo na lang, kasi sigurado ko na one two finish and mga bandang yan, ang pag-aagawan na lang ng the rest of the participating bands ay third place, masasayang lang ang entry fee nyo!

To the readers, consider yourselves warned!
