Start with dirt pedals bec dun medyo lamang talaga ang analog, tapos i-hybrid mo muna with your multi as your modulations/delays and then go from there - add what you feel you really need after that.  :)

if I may ask bro, what's your gear (guitar and amp) as well as genre of music you play?

the members here can help you better depending on the tone that you want to achieve :)

You can start by checking the patches on your multi to see what kinds of effects you use often and which ones you can live without. Afterwards, you can pretty much decide on which stomps you're gonna buy first.

yup I agree bro, overdrive and EQ, based on my limited experience. you can dial a lot of sounds from this pair.

delay and chorus for the next purchase :) so that you won't get overwhelmed trying out your pedals.

Try boss pedals.

-1... I wouldn't start off with boss pedals.  They sound constipated specially those made in Taiwan.

1. Identify the most often used effects.
2. Get boutique pedals that are made in USA or Europe.
3. Provide money for good quality cables -- specially interconnects.
4. Provide money for a good power supply like Voodoo Labs ISO 5 or Pedal Power 2.
5. Provide money for a sturdy pedalboard.
6. Match the whole setup to the amp that you will be using for your gig.
7. Buy good quality Velcro.
