This is the problem I'm encountering now. Sira na actuator ng FD-8 ko. Yupangco quoted me P2000 (Part + labor), problem is 45 days lead time. Any recommendation while I'm waiting for the parts? Matetengga TD-9KX ko pag ganito...

may roland PM series sir na compatible talaga for e-drums kaso may kamahalan. pwede ding keyboard amp kaso medyo may kamahalan din hehe. kung for practice or garage jam lang naman e pwede na ang powered speaker. by the way konzert speaker at konzert amp lang gamit ko at ok naman :)

Hi sirs, happy to find this forum and been backreading the rest of the morning. Active speaker or keyboard amp. Will be using only for house. Ano po pweding i-suggest niyo sa mga ito, naguguluhan ako kasi ang cost nila is within my budget. Ang hanap ko kasi ay iung plug and play kasi di na man ako technically inclined. Mapalabas lang maayos ang sound, walang delay, volume is good and maikabit sa PC. Newbie po and using headphone only on a TD92 Ringway. Thanks sirs  :)

Pabili na ako two weeks ago sir ng Berhinger KB buti na lang nag aalinlangan pa ako until kanina i found the forum kaninang umaga. Nadagdagan ng idea at pagpipilian, Peavey and active speaker. Tama kayo sir, sa presyo and with the same function that  i need, consider the wattage na. Ayaw ko na mag research until friday. Test ko itong B115D sa weekend. Pwede bang ikabit iung laptop sa second mic line in sir?

Pwede bro. Bili ka lang ng TRS to RCA cable (marami sa ACE hardware) tapos bili ka na rin ng RCA to PL na converter then saksak mo sa input 2. Masmagaan pa B115d compared sa keyboard amp. Pwede pa nakaspeaker stand yung powered speaker

Mga Sir query lang po,

I have a (shy) cheap RIngway TD82 e.drums.

Now nung try ko using the usb connection, then using EZ drummer vst, iba po ang response ng palo.

I mean example po pag itinuro mo yung mouse sa snare then click it, ibang iba po sa sound na kapag pinalo po yung snare trigger ko. Parang muted yung sound, walang "sarap" factor.

Kaya still Im using the default sounds nung module.

Any suggestions?

bro, try changing the Pad Sensitivity and Trigger Curve nung module mo para mas maging responsive.

Yes I think there is a pad sensitivity & curve sa Ringway...na-set ko sya but for itself...I'll try to set it for Ez drummer naman.

Ok Sir will try Superior Drummer....I'll contact Sir T for a copy hehe

Yes bro. create a kit for the VSTi. sa Digital Drums ko I have a kit separate for playing on its own, and a kit set for playing with VSTs hahaha it might just work. :D

Second hand ROLANDS or Bnew MEDELIs. though kung may makikita kang 2nd hand na Roland, go for this na. Mejo hindi ko kasi masyadong mapagkatiwalaan yung Ringway so I won't encourage this.

two cent.

I'm not sure if this question is already asked in any way.. But I have a Roland TD4kp which I want to try to do a record on my laptop. I don't know what to do because of these factors:

1. I have 0(zero) knowledge in recording music
2. I don't know which things to buy, like cables for example(I don't know how does interface works, even its meaning is mysterious to me:eek:)
3. Software to use and editing

I know its a lot to ask  but a few idea will surely get me a good head start. Thanks in advance!

@mrsticky

I also purchased recently a 2nd hand Roland TD-4 for our studio . Here are the things we used to record it.

Softwares
Cakewalk Sonar X2 with vst plugin of superior drummer 2.0

Hardware:
PC running core2quad with M-Audio Delta 1010lt sound card
Using a MIDI cable we connect the td-4 drum module to the MIDI-in of the delta 1010lt soundcard.

For further details you can search on youtube for superior dummer setup vids.
Hope that helps

Hello Bro, here are some tips and pointers to get you started.

1. Learn how to use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). There are loads of options to choose from, but for starters, I think it would be best to try REAPER as they have a 30 Day Free Trial Period.

2. Learn the Basics of your selected DAW. it's best to work with a DAW if you have a dedicated AUDIO INTERFACE so that you have better options for recording and monitoring. Doing these using your PC Soundcard may lead to undesirable results and difficulties.

3. Your TD4KP has a MIDI Out capability IIRC, so getting a MIDI2USB Cable (there are a lot of sellers here in PhilMusic.) would really help you out to get better sounds out of your DAW and VSTi. The Drum Module sounds are not good enough to be recorded. they still sound too digital. even if its a roland.

4. Get a VSTi. a VSTi is a Virtual Instrument that your Drum Kit will "Trigger" to get better sounds from. Do a youtube search for Superior Drummer or EZDrummer to hear the difference between a Module Sound Sample and a VST Sound Sample.

5. Everything you need to know to get started is on youtube. :)

I hope this helps you bro. There are a lot of guides out there that will be helpful to you. good luck!
