Im hoping that alesis would enhance their module's velocity layers of triggering..but according to some forum's thread the new alesis flagship module supports 40 velocity with 60 horizontal layers with round robin technology to eliminate the machine gun effect and has 8gb of internal memory and that dreaded hotspot on roland mesh heads(center piezo) could be lessen on alesis new drum pads with 12 foam columns attached to a single center piezo...

Another product that's already on the market to check out is the new ATV AD5 which supports different kind of trigger pads even on hihats/3 zone ride and snare from different manufacturers and this module's built in sound is sample based from acoustic counterparts in multilayers foundation...

this is the mod I used for my 12inch pads, I used 8 foam cut outs to disperse the full force of the hit... it actually works quite well, even if I hit the cones directly I dont get an overly exagerated velocity ready.

I think they started this pattern from the -mesh kits they came out with in 2014/2015 so this new one holds a lot of promise, maybe I'll get a chance to own one if amazon ships it to Qatar lol

Will this mod work on roland modules and pads? im sick of hotspot when I hit the center zone of my trigger pads especially when Im triggering vst, you can't help but notice the sudden jump of velocity.

Baka nabagsakan o nagalaw. Haist.

Here's what I did, tested the trigger by putting the crash cymbal's jack. Tumunog naman so working yung trigger ng bass. tapos linipat ko trigger ng bass sa crash. Di tumunog. Well either yung wire or yung mismong Module may problema. Pero problema sa wiring ng alesis DM6 is magkakasama kasi sila.

To see image, Check this link: http://www.newenglandmusicsupply.com/images/uploads/alesis-dm6-cables-sm.JPG

San ba may nag aayos ng Edrums. Binili ko to sa classifieds so I think walang warranty. Mejo Wala pa ako masyado alam sa E drums. Need assistance. haha..

Naka experience na rin dati ako ng ganyang issue sa ekit ko so tnry ko rin ung gaya sayo pero my indication sa module nya na gumagana ung trigger kc ung LED makikita mong umiilaw kapag nkapick up ng signal from trigger kaya tiningnan ko muna sa mga settings sa module kung my nabago pro d ko mahanap kaya factory reset nlng ung last resort ko tas tumunog na ulit ung input from trigger. Hirap kc pg ganyang cable pag nasira mahirap ayusin or bibili ka ng bago.
